35 days on a single charge! Honor teases new Watch 6 Plus Home News Honor teases new Watch 6 Plus with a declared battery life of up to 35 days on a single charge Design-wise, they follow last year's Watch 5 Ultra, with new features including a sports mode for badminton and advanced heart health monitoring The "Plus" designation appears for the first time for Honor, which may indicate a change in the hierarchy of its flagship smartwatch line Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 2. 5. 2026 08:30 Advertisement Chinese Honor is preparing to introduce new smartwatches called Watch 6 Plus in the coming weeks and has started to build interest in them in a classic way – with a teaser poster revealing their appearance and a few selected attractions. The rest is being saved for the official unveiling, the date of which the manufacturer is currently keeping under wraps. 35 days on battery, but… Plus instead of Ultra. What's changing? Heart monitoring and badminton mode When and for how much? 35 days on battery, but… The main draw of the teaser is up to 35 days of battery life on a single charge. If the number proves to be real, it would be one of the best battery lives on the smartwatch market ever – perhaps only a select range of Garmin watches, which traditionally market long operation as their main discipline, could compete. However, it’s appropriate to temper the enthusiasm a bit. Chinese manufacturers usually state these numbers in power-saving mode with some functions turned off, typically with the always-on display deactivated, limited heart rate measurement, and without active GPS. Real-world battery life in full operation is usually about half, which would still mean a very solid 17 days – a score where previous Watch 5 Ultra models also performed. Plus instead of Ultra. What’s changing? More interesting than the number itself is actually the moniker Plus. Honor is using it for its smartwatches for the first time; previously, its portfolio included the basic Watch series and the flagship Watch Ultra, whose last generation arrived in March of last year. The Watch 6 Plus will therefore most likely replace the Ultra position, or perhaps fit between the basic model and the top-tier variant as a kind of intermediary. Design-wise, the upcoming novelty doesn’t differ much from the Watch 5 Ultra. The poster shows the same circular dial with a rotating crown and a side button, and at least two color variants of the case will be available. The main change is therefore internal – a larger battery, thanks to which Honor could print those promised 35 days on the packaging. Heart monitoring and badminton mode Among the features, the manufacturer mentions advanced heart health monitoring, which is standard in the premium smartwatch segment – ECG, blood oxygen measurement, and continuous heart rate monitoring with alerts for unusual values can be expected. However, Honor has not yet disclosed specific details. The specialized badminton mode, which the manufacturer highlights as a standalone new feature on the poster, seems a bit more amusing. In China, it’s a popular sport, and watches with movement analytics and racket strokes clearly have a market there – but for a European customer, it’s more of a curiosity than a reason to buy. The question, of course, remains whether, in addition to badminton, the watches will be able to cover more common disciplines like running, swimming, or cycling at a decent level. When and for how much? Honor has not yet announced the exact launch date, but given the nature of the teaser, it will be a matter of days, at most a few weeks. The official sales launch will likely take place first in China, with global availability coming with the usual delay of several months. The price is difficult to estimate for now, but if Honor maintains the strategy of last year’s Watch 5 Ultra, the Plus could range somewhere between 8,000 and 12,000 Czech crowns. Would 35-day battery life entice you enough to accept a compromise in other features?
