If the Samsung brand matters to you for a TV, but you don’t want to spend twenty thousand or more, this is an interesting opportunity. The 65″ Samsung QE65Q7F QLED TV is available on Heureka from 11,153 CZK — almost half of its original price of 21,990 CZK. For that money, you get a Quantum Dot panel with better colors and contrast than what cheaper Crystal UHD models offer, plus complete smart features with the Tizen system.

Quick Summary:
Makes sense if you want a 65″ Samsung with QLED technology and don’t want to exceed a budget of 12,000 CZK.
⚠️ Consider that it doesn’t have Mini LED backlighting — blacks won’t be as deep as on more expensive models, and brighter zones may appear in complete darkness.
💡 For 11,153 CZK, you get a better picture than with the basic Crystal UHD series, plus HDR10+, Quantum Dot, and an AI Q4 processor.

QLED vs. Crystal UHD: why it’s a better buy

Samsung distinguishes several levels of TVs in its offering. At the very bottom sits the Crystal UHD series — classic LED panels with a reasonable picture but without technological enhancements. One step up is the QLED series, which utilizes Quantum Dot technology. This ensures more accurate and vibrant colors, better brightness handling, and an overall more lively picture.

Practically, this means that when watching movies with HDR content, you will see a noticeable difference compared to basic models. Colors are richer, contrast is deeper, and brightness is more uniform. PANTONE certification verifies accurate display of over 2,140 colors, including 110 skin tones — you won’t find this in cheaper series.

What the QE65Q7F lacks, however, is Mini LED backlighting. It uses standard Edge LED, which means less precise brightness control in individual screen zones. When watching dark scenes in a darkened room, brighter areas might be visible where black should be. However, for regular daytime viewing and under normal lighting, this is not a significant issue.

What else you get

The AI Q4 processor handles content upscaling to near 4K quality — especially useful when watching older shows or broadcasts in lower resolution. It supports both HDR10+ and classic HDR10, covering most streaming services. Motion Xcelerator technology smooths motion in sports broadcasts and action scenes.

The Tizen OS system (now branded as One UI Tizen) is one of the fastest TV platforms on the market. Samsung promises up to 7 years of software updates, so the TV should remain current until at least 2032. Of course, Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and Apple AirPlay for streaming from iPhone or Mac are available.

For connectivity, you’ll find 3× HDMI 2.1 (supporting 4K at 60 Hz), 1× USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3. The integrated SmartThings hub can control compatible smart home devices, including Matter standard devices. The speakers have a power output of 20 W in a stereo configuration — sufficient for comfortable news and series viewing, but for a cinematic experience, it’s worth adding a soundbar.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you watch a lot of movies in a darkened room and imperfect blacks bother you, a TV with Mini LED or even OLED would be a better choice. Edge LED backlighting is a weaker link in this regard, and even the AI processor won’t save it. The native refresh rate is 50 Hz — while the TV handles gaming features like ALLM and supports 4K at 60 Hz via HDMI, it won’t achieve truly smooth gaming with VRR at 120 Hz. Better options exist for passionate gamers.

Also, the 20 W sound output is rather supplementary — for a cinematic experience befitting a 65″ diagonal, you’ll want an external solution.

Verdict: a reasonable Samsung for reasonable money

Upon launch, the Samsung QE65Q7F at 21,990 CZK faced strong competition — TVs with Mini LED backlighting and higher refresh rates could be found for similar money. However, at 11,153 CZK, the situation is different. You get a 65″ QLED panel with Quantum Dot technology, HDR10+, a smart Tizen system with seven years of support, and the Samsung brand.

If you’re looking for a large TV for your living room, want Samsung, and don’t need top-tier backlighting, this 49% discount is worth considering.
