75″ Xiaomi Mini LED TV on a great deal! It has 512 dimming zones, 144 Hz, and Google TV Home News 75" Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2025 discounted from 25,490 CZK to 21,499 CZK in Black Friday It has 512 dimming zones of Mini LED backlighting and a maximum brightness of 1200 nits For similar money, you can buy a 65" OLED – it's not a clear choice, it depends on priorities Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 4. 11. 2025 11:30 Advertisement As part of Black Friday, Alza is dropping the price of the 75″ version of Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2025 from the original 25,490 CZK to 21,499 CZK. This is a larger version of the TV that we recently recommended in its 55″ variant. Instead of 308 zones, it has 512 dimming zones of Mini LED backlighting, which promises even better contrast and more precise local dimming. But is it a clear choice? Not entirely. For similar money, you can buy a 65″ OLED TV – a smaller diagonal, but with perfect black. Let’s take a look at who each makes sense for. Mini LED vs OLED: What you gain, what you lose This is the crux of the matter. For 21,499 CZK, you can buy a 75″ Xiaomi TV S Mini LED, or for a similar price (around 20-23 thousand), get a 65″ OLED from LG, Philips, or even Samsung. The technologies are fundamentally different and have distinct advantages. What you gain with Mini LED: Larger diagonal – 75″ vs 65″ is a significant difference, especially in large living rooms Higher peak brightness – 1200 nits vs 600-800 nits for basic OLEDs. You’ll notice this during the day or in a well-lit room No burn-in risk – Mini LED does not have issues with static elements burning in (channel logo, game HUD) Longer lifespan – OLED pixels degrade over time, Mini LED is more stable What you lose compared to OLED: Perfect black – OLED pixels turn off completely (0 nits), Mini LED must have backlighting active Infinite contrast – because OLED has true black (0 nits), contrast is theoretically infinite Better viewing angles – OLED looks great even from the side, Mini LED loses contrast and colors No blooming – OLED does not have issues with light haloing around bright objects When we tested the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED, blooming was minimal. With the 75″ version with 512 zones, it should be even better – more zones mean more precise backlight control. But OLED simply has no blooming at all, because each pixel lights up independently. 512 zones: How much better than the 55″ version? The 55″ Xiaomi TV S Mini LED has 308 zones, while the 75″ version has 512 zones. This is an increase of 66%, but the screen area is 85% larger. In practice, this means that the zone density per unit area is slightly lower in the 75″ version. It’s not a dramatic difference, but purely mathematically, the 55″ version is a bit more precise in local dimming. KOUPIT XIAOMI TV V AKCI Nevertheless, 512 zones is still significantly more than typical LED TVs, which usually have 50-100 zones (if they have local dimming at all). Based on our experience with the 55″ version, local dimming works well – black is dark (not gray), blooming is minimal, and HDR content looks impressive. With the 75″ version, it will be similar, just on a larger screen area. Other parameters: 144 Hz, HDMI 2.1, Google TV The 75″ version shares the same specifications as the 55″ model: 144Hz panel with VRR support – ideal for gaming on PS5 or PC Two HDMI 2.1 ports with 4K@120Hz and active HDR support 4 millisecond latency in game mode Google TV with access to all streaming services Wi-Fi 6 for stable 4K streaming Most 65″ OLEDs in this price category have only 120Hz (not 144Hz) and often only one HDMI 2.1 port instead of two. If you have both a PS5 and a gaming PC, you’ll appreciate two ports – you won’t have to switch cables. KOUPIT XIAOMI TV V AKCI The built-in speakers remain a weak point – 25W of power is not enough for a full-fledged experience. If you don’t have a soundbar or home theater, expect that you will need to purchase one. Unfortunately, Alza does not include a free soundbar with the 75″ version, unlike the 55″ model. Conclusion: It’s not a clear choice The 75″ Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2025 for 21,499 CZK is an interesting offer, but it’s not an automatic choice. If you have a large room, watch during the day, and want the maximum diagonal, Mini LED makes sense. If you primarily watch in the evening, are a film connoisseur, and 65″ is enough for you, OLED will likely be a better choice. What do you think of this discount?
