A five-liter Tefal air fryer costs 1,499 CZK with a code. You can store leftovers in its container in the fridge.

With an air fryer, it’s not just about how it prepares dinner, but also the dishes left afterwards. The Tefal Easy Fry Silence has a five-liter basket with a removable front panel, so it takes up less space when washing. It also includes a lid for storing leftovers in the fridge. On Alza, it now costs 1,499 CZK with code ALZADNY50. Without the code, the store lists 2,998 CZK, so the coupon halves the current price.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for: Fries and baking, if you want to use presets and also have the option to set time and temperature yourself.
⚠️ Consider: It has only one basket. You cannot prepare meat and side dishes at different temperatures simultaneously.
💡 Lid is included. You can use the frying container after cooking to store leftovers in the fridge.

Presets help you start, custom settings remain

The Smart Assist system guides you through setting options for 55 different types of food. It’s useful when you don’t want to start by guessing the time and temperature for every new ingredient. Once you find settings that suit you, you can also enter both manually. The temperature range is 40–220 °C, and in addition to air frying, the appliance can also bake or roast.

Tefal labels the Silence range as its quietest air fryer. Noise is supposed to be reduced by a modified motor and air circulation system; Alza states an operating noise level of 48 dB. If the appliance will be in a kitchen connected to a living room, it makes sense to consider this parameter when choosing.

Also worth mentioning is the My Tefal app with over 100 detailed illustrated recipes and tips.

Removable front panel comes in handy after cooking

The front part of the basket can be detached. The non-stick container then takes up less space in the dishwasher, and you can cover it with the included lid for storing leftovers. This way, you don’t have to take out and then wash another container for leftovers.

Tefal also states fifteen years of repairability and spare parts availability for this model. This does not mean fifteen years of free repairs.

Do you use your air fryer more often for fries, or do you also prepare other dishes in it?
