The Vivo brand is preparing to launch a pair of mid-range models on our market. Unlike the X300 flagships, which target more demanding users and true photography enthusiasts, the new V70 and V70 FE will arrive with more accessible prices and features that look great on paper. Although the brand has already launched a marketing campaign in the Czech Republic focused on promoting both phones, it is still keeping the prices under wraps. However, the editorial team of Svět Androida managed to find them out before the official presentation, which will take place on April 1st.

Vivo V70 FE: 200Mpx sensor and giant battery at a reasonable price

The cheaper of the two relies on a combination of high camera resolution and exceptional endurance. The main 200Mpx sensor with a size of 1/1.56″ boasts, among other things, a proprietary CIPA 4.0 image stabilization system and a six-element lens, whose task is to maintain sharpness all the way to the corners. The full 200 Mpx mode is then suitable for landscape and architecture photography, where you will appreciate the freedom of later cropping without losing details.

The Vivo V70 FE complements the main sensor with an 8Mpx ultrawide with a 120° field of view and a 32Mpx selfie camera. The phone can shoot 4K video and also features a waterproof underwater photography mode up to a depth of 1.5 meters.

Perhaps an even more interesting feature will be the 7,000mAh battery, which will place the V70 FE model among those with the largest battery capacity in its category. Support for 90W fast charging will then ensure a quick return to full power. The Bypass Charging function, when gaming with a connected charger, directs power directly to the system instead of the battery, which reduces heating and preserves its condition.

The display has a diagonal of 6.83″ with a resolution of 2800 × 1260 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of 1,900 nits. Performance is handled by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo processor with 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which can be virtually expanded by another 8 GB. The phone runs on Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 overlay, and Vivo guarantees 5 years of security updates.

Vivo V70: ZEISS optics and telephoto lens for photography enthusiasts

The more expensive V70 model targets users who primarily expect a high-quality camera from their phone. The main 50Mpx Sony IMX766 sensor with ZEISS optics, a size of 1/1.56″, and an aperture of f/1.88 is complemented by a 50Mpx Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom and also ZEISS certification. Digital zoom reaches up to 100×.

Stage Mode is a special mode for photographing concerts and festivals – it offers up to 10× zoom with AI detail enhancement. An 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 115° field of view and a 50Mpx front camera with autofocus and a 92° field of view complete the setup.

The Vivo V70 display is slightly smaller (6.59″) but offers brightness up to 5,000 nits, a value comparable to flagships. The resolution is 2750 × 1260 pixels at a 120Hz frequency. Under the hood, a more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 ticks, which can better handle demanding games and photo editing.

The battery has a capacity of 6,500 mAh with 90W charging support. The phone boasts an aerospace-grade aluminum frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader (works even with a wet finger), and 6 years of security updates. It shares IP68/IP69 resistance with its cheaper sibling.

Prices and Availability in the Czech Republic

According to information we managed to obtain from two independent sources, the Vivo V70 FE in the 8/256 GB configuration will cost 9,990 CZK. The variant with 512GB storage will cost 11,490 CZK. Bundles including headphones and a power adapter will also be available, which will always be a thousand crowns more expensive. The phone will come in Ocean Blue and Muse Purple colors.

According to sources, the Vivo V70 will be sold only in the 8/512 GB configuration for 15,990 CZK. The available colors will be Authentic Black and Alpine Grey.

Who are these phones suitable for?

The Vivo V70 FE will appeal to users looking for a phone with the longest possible battery life and a high-resolution camera at a reasonable price. The compromises are the absence of a telephoto lens and a weaker processor, which may not be sufficient for the most demanding games. However, fast charging and long-term software support can balance these out.

The Vivo V70 is the choice for photography enthusiasts who appreciate ZEISS optics, a telephoto lens with 3× zoom, and a more powerful chipset, but do not want to spend on much more expensive camera phones. The 6,000 CZK surcharge compared to the basic V70 FE also brings longer software support, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and a significantly brighter display.
