Xiaomi has expanded its gaming monitor portfolio with the new Redmi G34WQ 2026 model, targeting gamers looking for an ultrawide curved display at an affordable price. The monitor is sold in China for 1,399 yuan, which translates to approximately 4,100 CZK. For this price, customers receive a 34″ panel with advanced gaming features.

Curved Panel for Better Immersion in Games

The Redmi G34WQ 2026 utilizes a 34-inch VA panel with a 1500R curvature, which matches the natural curvature of the human eye. The display offers WQHD (3440×1440 pixels) resolution with an aspect ratio of 21:9. This format provides a 30% wider viewing area compared to standard 16:9 monitors, which you’ll appreciate not only when gaming but also when working with multiple windows.

For a smooth gaming experience, the monitor features a 180Hz refresh rate and a 1 ms GTG (gray-to-gray) response time. Also included is AMD FreeSync Premium certification, which synchronizes the monitor’s refresh rate with the graphics card’s performance, thus eliminating screen tearing.

HDR 400 and Wide Color Gamut

The monitor supports the HDR 400 standard with a maximum brightness of 400 nits. Color reproduction is ensured by 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB coverage. The panel operates with a 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), allowing for the display of up to 1.07 billion colors. The contrast ratio reaches 3500:1.

Xiaomi has integrated Xiaomi Qingshan eye protection technology into the monitor, which includes TÜV certification for low blue light emission. The monitor also supports DC dimming, which eliminates screen flickering at lower brightness levels.

Rich Connectivity and Ergonomic Stand

For connecting gaming devices, the Redmi G34WQ 2026 offers a total of four video inputs – two DisplayPort 1.4 ports and two HDMI 2.0 ports. There is also a 3.5mm audio output for connecting headphones or speakers.

The package includes an ergonomic stand allowing for height adjustment, tilt (-5° to +21°), and swivel. The monitor can also be wall-mounted using a 100×100 mm VESA mount. The weight including the stand is 6.5 kg.

Who is the monitor suitable for?

The Redmi G34WQ 2026 will appeal primarily to gamers who prefer a wider field of view in games such as racing simulators, flight simulators, or strategy games. Thanks to its 3440×1440 pixel resolution, it is also suitable for graphic design or video editing, where you will appreciate the additional workspace.

With a price of 1,399 yuan (4,100 CZK), it represents an interesting alternative to more expensive branded monitors with similar specifications. In the package, customers will find the monitor, stand, power adapter (65W), DisplayPort 1.4 cable, and mounting screws. Xiaomi provides a three-year warranty for the monitor.

It is not yet clear whether the Redmi G34WQ 2026 will reach the European market. However, Xiaomi has launched similar products in our market many times before, so it is possible that we will eventually see this piece on store shelves (perhaps under a different designation).
