LG Electronics has officially unveiled its latest **LG OLED evo M5** lineup, which will delight staunch cable opponents. According to the manufacturer, these are the **first truly wireless OLED TVs**, capable of transmitting both video and audio „remotely“ thanks to proprietary True Wireless technology. The new product combines **top-tier OLED picture quality** with advanced gaming features and an innovative installation solution.

Revolutionary Zero Connect Box changes the rules of the game

An essential part of the TV package is the so-called **Zero Connect Box**, which allows all connected devices to be placed up to **9 meters away from the TV**. Gaming consoles, set-top boxes, or other HDMI devices connect directly to this box, which then **wirelessly transmits a 4K signal** to the TV without any loss of quality. The result is a perfectly clean look without cable clutter around the TV.

This innovation offers a huge advantage during installation. While conventional TVs require you to **place all devices near the screen**, with the M5 model, you can place consoles or players anywhere within range – on a shelf, in a cabinet, or even next to the sofa. **No cables run between the TV and the devices.** However, it is still necessary to connect the TV to the electrical grid with a cable.

Professional-level gaming performance

The LG OLED evo M5 targets not only casual digital content consumers but also gamers. In the press release, the company mentions a response time of 0.1 milliseconds and support for **4K resolution at a 144Hz refresh rate**. As the only wireless model, the TV supports **NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium** technologies, which eliminate screen tearing and ensure a smooth gaming experience even during fast action. Additionally, four **HDMI 2.1 ports on the Zero Connect Box** allow for simultaneous connection of multiple gaming devices, including support for the latest consoles.

Picture quality with triple brightness

The new **Brightness Booster Ultimate** technology reportedly provides **three times higher brightness** compared to conventional OLED models, with the M5 being **45% brighter than the previous generation**. Image processing is handled by the advanced **Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen2** with AI Picture Pro and AI Super Upscaling features. For home cinema enthusiasts, the M5 offers support for **Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and Filmmaker Mode** with ambient light compensation for cinematic accuracy.

Smart features with voice recognition

The TV runs on the **webOS** platform with support for over **300 free live channels** and integration of popular streaming services. The **AI Voice ID feature recognizes individual users** by voice and offers personalized content recommendations. Support for **Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant, and Amazon Alexa** for smart home integration is also included.

Another interesting feature is the **5-year warranty on the OLED panel**, which is an unusual advantage in the premium TV category. LG also promises regular software updates through the Re:New program for five years.

Availability and price in the Czech Republic currently unknown

The LG OLED evo M5 will be available in **four sizes: 65, 77, 83, and 97 inches**. While smaller models support 4K at 144Hz, the largest 97-inch variant reaches a maximum of 120Hz. **Official availability in the Czech Republic** and local prices are not yet known. However, it is expected that due to the wireless technology, the new model will be significantly more expensive than conventional solutions.
