Affordable Xiaomi Redmi A24 2026 Monitor Surprises with a Seriously High Refresh Rate

Xiaomi has expanded its range of affordable monitors with another model. Following the recently introduced larger Redmi A27 2026 model, the Chinese manufacturer is now offering a smaller Redmi A24 2026 variant. The new monitor targets users looking for an affordable solution for office work and gaming with a higher refresh rate.

Higher Refresh Rate for the Same Price

The Redmi A24 2026 brings a significant improvement over last year’s model, primarily in terms of refresh rate, which has increased from 100 Hz to 144 Hz. This change makes the monitor an interesting choice not only for office work but also for less demanding gaming (especially competitive titles). The monitor retains its 23.8-inch diagonal with an IPS panel and a standard resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels.

The display covers 99% of the sRGB color space and achieves a maximum brightness of 300 nits, ensuring a solid image even when working in brighter rooms. The manufacturer states a 178° viewing angle both horizontally and vertically, which is standard for IPS technology.

Factory Calibration and Eye Protection

Among its interesting features is factory calibration with a ΔE value of less than 1, which ensures accurate color reproduction right out of the box. Xiaomi states that each monitor undergoes individual calibration before leaving the factory. For extended work, you’ll appreciate the TÜV Low Blue Light certification, which is designed to reduce eye fatigue.

The monitor responds with a 6 ms response time and offers a static contrast ratio of 1500:1. For gamers, the support for DC backlight technology, which eliminates screen flickering, might be interesting.

Basic Connectivity and Practical Design

In terms of connectivity, the monitor features one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0 port. The package includes an HDMI cable, so you can immediately connect the monitor to a computer or gaming console. The design is characterized by thin bezels on the sides, which facilitates creating a multi-monitor setup with monitors placed closely together.

The stand allows for tilting from -5° to +15°, and the monitor supports a 75 × 75 mm VESA adapter for potential wall or arm mounting. The overall dimensions with the stand are 539 × 170 × 434 mm, weighing 3 kilograms.

Extremely Low Price, Unclear Availability

In China, the Redmi A24 2026 is currently selling for 469 yuan, which converts to approximately 1,400 CZK. Additionally, Xiaomi offers a three-year warranty on the entire device.

Information about the monitor’s availability in the Czech Republic or other markets has not yet been released by the manufacturer. However, Xiaomi traditionally brings many of its Redmi products to global markets, so it is quite possible that the A24 2026 model will eventually appear here as well (perhaps under a different designation).
