Alza discounted its Core PLUS headphones to 479 CZK. They feature titanium-coated drivers and support ENC

When Alza launched its own AlzaPower Core PLUS wireless headphones last November, it sold them for 699 CZK. Then came a surprising price increase to 799 CZK, making them a less attractive option in the segment of cheap True Wireless earbuds. However, the situation is now reversing – with the current price of 479 CZK, they are one of the most interesting offers in their category.

What do you get for that price?

AlzaPower Core PLUS are semi in-ear earbuds with 13mm neodymium drivers, which have a titanium coating. This should contribute to clearer highs and deeper bass. Wireless connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 5.3 with support for AAC and SBC codecs, which is standard in this price range.

The headphones feature four microphones, and Alza also mentions ENC technology, which software-wise suppresses ambient noise during calls – by definition, it doesn’t improve the quality of the content you’re playing, but rather what the other party hears during phone calls or meetings. However, the description on the product page is a bit confusing in this regard, as Alza simultaneously talks about “undisturbed listening” or writes that thanks to ENC, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite music without distracting ambient sounds.

Alza states the battery life as 5.5 hours for the headphones themselves, with the charging case providing an additional 20.5 hours. The total battery life of 26 hours is above average for this price category. A full charge for both the headphones and the case takes approximately two hours. IPX4 rating means resistance to splashing water and sweat. The frequency range is 20 to 20,000 Hz, and call answering and track switching are handled by touch controls.

Who are they suitable for?

AlzaPower Core PLUS targets users looking for affordable TWS headphones for everyday use – listening to music while commuting, making calls, or exercising. The low-latency gaming mode will be appreciated by those who occasionally watch videos or play mobile games.

Conversely, they are not an ideal choice for audiophile listeners expecting premium sound or for users with smaller ear canals – the larger body of the headphones may not suit everyone, as reviewers point out.
