MagSafe power banks with Qi2 certification and fast 15W charging usually start above a thousand CZK. If you want to check current availability (which changes quickly with similar promotions), you’ll find everything directly in the product detail on Alza.

Quick summary:
Makes sense, if you have an iPhone 12 or newer and want a backup power source that you can attach to the back of your phone without cables.
⚠️ Consider, if you need to charge an iPhone with a larger battery multiple times or plan to use the power bank in a hot environment.
💡 For 903 CZK you get a certified Qi2 power bank with MagSafe compatibility, a USB-C output, and a cable included in the package.

Why this power bank is interesting

This power bank from AlzaPower targets iPhone owners who want an elegant cable-free backup power source. Just magnetically attach it to the back of your phone, and charging starts automatically. With a thickness of just 9 mm and a weight of 130 g, it practically doesn’t get in the way during normal use – you can hold the phone in your hand, text, or browse the internet.

Charging: wirelessly and via cable

The power bank has Qi2 certification, which is a successor to the older Qi standard with higher efficiency and alignment accuracy. Wireless charging reaches a power of up to 15 W, which corresponds to the maximum supported by iPhones. Strong magnets of specification N52 ensure a firm attachment and correct alignment – the power bank holds even through a thinner MagSafe case (maximum charging distance is 4 mm).

Also available is a USB-C port with a power of up to 20 W and support for fast charging standards Power Delivery 3.0, Quick Charge 3.0, Samsung AFC, Huawei FCP, and Apple 2.4A. You can thus charge two devices simultaneously – one wirelessly and the other via cable – but the power will be split to 5 + 5 W in that case. The power bank itself charges in approximately 1.5 hours (when using a 20W charger).

Practical aspects: compatibility, safety, in the package

The power bank works with all MagSafe iPhones (12 and newer) and Android phones with Qi2 support or a magnetic ring. Qi2 is becoming a global standard, so compatibility should be ensured for the future as well. The charging status is indicated by an LED indicator on the side of the device.

Safety is ensured by 4safe protection against overvoltage, overload, overheating, and short circuit. In the package, you will find a USB-C cable (30 cm) for charging the power bank and connecting devices. The power bank is available in three color variants: dark blue, white, and pink.

Important note: the power bank does not support Low Power Mode, so it is not suitable for charging smartwatches or headphones with low power consumption. A different type of power bank is needed for that.

What users say

On Alza, the power bank has a rating of 4.4 out of 5 (119 ratings) and 82% of customers recommend it. Over 2,000 units have been sold with a complaint rate of 1.04%. Users most often praise compact dimensions, the strength of the magnets, and quality craftsmanship. One reviewer writes that it is “extremely thin and light, so she carries it in her handbag without problems” and that the magnetic attachment is “super”.

Critical voices agree on two things. The first is heating during wireless charging – this is physically unavoidable with wireless power transfer, but some users report that in hot weather, the phone overheats and charging pauses.

The second complaint concerns real capacity. A nominal capacity of 5,000 mAh does not mean that you will get that much energy into your phone – losses occur during wireless transmission. Users report that the power bank charges an iPhone 15 Pro Max (with a 4,400 mAh battery) to about 50%, while a smaller iPhone 13 mini can be fully recharged. It is therefore more of an “emergency” for extending battery life than a source for multiple charges.

If this particular model didn’t appeal to you, but you’re looking for MagSafe accessories on sale, you can also check out the current Alza Days, where other discounted power banks and chargers regularly appear.

Verdict: who it’s worth it for

If you have an iPhone with MagSafe and are looking for an elegant backup power source that you can attach to the back of your phone without dealing with cables, this discount is definitely interesting. For 903 CZK you get a certified Qi2 power bank with quality craftsmanship and strong magnets. Conversely, if you need to charge an iPhone with a larger battery multiple times a day or plan to use the power bank in a hot environment (summer, car in the sun), expect limitations with wireless charging.
