Phone at a few percent, cable left at home, and it’s getting dark outside. Alza designed its outdoor power bank precisely for such moments. The AlzaPower Adventure now costs 599 CZK with code ALZADNY25, which is 200 CZK (25%) less than its usual selling price. According to price history, it has only been this cheap once before, this past February.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense for trips, camping, or a bike backpack, where you’ll appreciate the built-in cable, flashlight, and durable body.
⚠️ Consider that it doesn’t have USB-A, and when charging two devices simultaneously, the power drops to 12 and 15 W.
💡 For 599 CZK, you get a 45W power bank that Alza otherwise sells for 799 CZK.

The Adventure has only been this cheap once before

The promotional price is valid from October 5th. HlídačShopů has been tracking the power bank since last Christmas, and it hasn’t been cheaper during that time. Alza asked for the same amount only in February, when we also wrote about the February discount. In April, it briefly cost 679 CZK, otherwise it stayed at 799 CZK, and in the summer, Alza even raised its price to 899 CZK.

The stated original price of 799 CZK therefore corresponds to what the power bank genuinely sells for most of the time. It also matches the “minimum price before the promotion” that Alza must display according to discount rules. The 200 CZK (25%) discount is thus real. However, the price of 599 CZK is valid only with code ALZADNY25 at the time of writing.

Retractable cable, 45 W power, and a flashlight with two modes

The main attraction is the 60 cm long USB-C cable that retracts directly from the power bank’s body. This allows you to charge your phone even if you forget your own cable at home, and according to Alza, you can also recharge the power bank itself through it. You connect a second device to a standard USB-C port; the necessary cable is included in the package.

According to Alza, the power bank delivers up to 45 W. This is sufficient for fast charging most phones with USB-C Power Delivery and can also handle a tablet. One customer even uses it to power a MacBook Air, another charges their laptop with it. The catch comes when you connect two devices simultaneously – then the power bank delivers only 12 W to one and 15 W to the other.

The 10,000 mAh capacity corresponds to 37 Wh. Two customers write that it charges a typical phone about twice. The power bank itself, with a 30W charger, recharges in approximately two hours according to the manufacturer.

The outdoor character is completed by an LED flashlight, which you turn on by long-pressing the button and switch to flashing mode with another press. Alza also states drop resistance from 1.5 meters and IP44 rating, meaning protection against splashing water. However, the power bank should not be dropped into a stream.

Customers praise the flashlight, but have reservations about the built-in cable

On Alza, the power bank has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 from 21 customers, and 86% of them recommend it. Over 1,000 units have been sold, and the return rate is 1.43%. Most often, buyers praise the surprisingly powerful flashlight and the retractable cable. One of them even verified the 45 W output with a tester, and another uses it to power an outdoor camera.

However, the same complaint repeatedly appears. Two customers write that the built-in cable sometimes doesn’t charge, and it’s necessary to find the correct position. Another buyer complains that the power bank “does what it wants” when charging phones. Another couldn’t charge an iPhone 16 Pro via the built-in cable, but it worked through the second port. One Slovak reviewer also points out the rubber port cover, which is difficult to open without longer fingernails. However, there are still relatively few reviews.

No USB-A and not enough for multi-day trips

If you still use older cables or devices with a USB-A connector, you will need an adapter. The power bank exclusively offers USB-C. For a multi-day trip without electricity, where you want to charge your phone, watch, and headlamp, 10,000 mAh is relatively little, and it’s worth opting for a larger capacity.

Makes sense for day trips

Anyone who hikes in the mountains, cycles, or spends weekends at a cottage will get a durable power bank for 599 CZK with code ALZADNY25 that can also replace a pocket flashlight and doesn’t require carrying an extra cable. It can also be useful as a backup in a handbag for owners of phones with fast charging. Those who need several days of battery life or rely on USB-A should look elsewhere.

Do you carry a power bank with you on trips, or do you rely on your phone’s battery?
