The T-Rex 3 Pro prematurely appeared in the offering of the Philippine e-shop Shopee, which revealed complete specifications and photos. While the standard T-Rex 3 was launched in September 2024, the Pro version will bring several interesting improvements, including an LED flashlight and call support. Two Sizes and Sapphire Glass The biggest change compared to the current generation will be availability in two case sizes. The larger 48mm version will come in Tactical Black and Black Gold colors, while the smaller 44mm model will be available in Arctic Gold and Black Gold. The AMOLED display will offer a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, representing a 50% increase compared to the standard T-Rex 3 with its 2,000 nits. Additionally, the screen is protected by sapphire glass instead of regular Gorilla Glass, and the buttons are made of TC4 titanium alloy. Flashlight and Bluetooth Calls Hardware novelties primarily include a two-color LED flashlight, which will be appreciated during outdoor activities. The watch will also feature a speaker and microphone for making calls via Bluetooth connection. Athletes will appreciate more than 180 sports modes and the Route Planning function with dual GPS. The 10 ATM water resistance will allow use for diving, including freediving. A new feature, BioCharge, also appears for measuring the body’s energy level, which has not been available on other models of the brand until now. Shorter Battery Life in Exchange for Features The watch uses the BioTracker 6.0 sensor for measuring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress, and skin temperature. The larger 48mm model will get a 700mAh battery with up to 25 days of battery life, which is paradoxically less than the 27 days of the current T-Rex 3. Even so, this is an absolutely excellent duration that not many watches can boast. The smaller 44mm version will then offer a 640mAh battery with, understandably, a shorter battery life of 19 days. Both variants will run on Zepp OS 4.0 and will have 26 GB of internal storage. Amazfit has not yet officially announced the watch, so we do not know the launch date or price. Current T-Rex 3 Among the Most Popular on the Market Meanwhile, the standard Amazfit T-Rex 3 has gained considerable popularity among Czech users. They offer a 1.5″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 480×480 pixels, 2,000 nits brightness, and up to 27 days of battery life on a single charge. The watch features dual-band GPS with 6 satellite systems, 170 sports modes, and 10 ATM water resistance. Interesting features include Glove Mode for operation with gloves, temperature resistance from -30°C to 70°C, and support for contactless payments via Zepp Pay with NFC. In the Czech Republic, they are available in three color variants at a uniform price. How excited are you for the Amazfit T-Rex 3 Pro?
