Amazfit is preparing two new watches. It secretly showed one of them itself

The Amazfit brand is clearly not idle. Shortly after the introduction of the T-Rex Ultra 2 outdoor watch and the Active 3 Premium running model to the Czech market, further additions to the portfolio are beginning to emerge. From an official video and the Zepp app code, it appears that the manufacturer is working on at least two new models – the Cheetah 2 Pro sports watch and the premium Falcon 2.

Amazfit recently published a video in collaboration with Canadian long-distance runner Grant Fisher. The footage captures not only the Zepp app with an activity summary but also the watch itself on the runner’s wrist. And these are the as-yet unannounced Cheetah 2 Pro.

Compared to the original Cheetah Pro model, the new products differ in one significant detail. The current generation has one button and a rotating crown on the side, whereas the Cheetah 2 Pro features two separate buttons. The rotating crown will likely disappear entirely. Further specifications and pricing are not yet known.

Falcon 2 hidden in app code

The second upcoming model was revealed by a search in the code of the Zepp app version 10.0.8, writes the server Gadgets and Wearables. Among the internal identifiers is the string SUPPORT_BIND_FALCON2025, which suggests work on a successor to the premium Amazfit Falcon watch. The manufacturer launched these in October 2022 and has not updated them since.

The original Falcon targets demanding athletes and boasts a titanium body, sapphire glass, and 20 ATM water resistance. What improvements the second generation will bring, we do not yet know. The number 2025 in the string name is interesting – it might suggest that the watch was originally intended to be released last year.

Neither the Cheetah 2 Pro nor the Falcon 2 have yet appeared in certification databases, which usually precede an official launch by several months. A realistic launch date is therefore at the earliest during spring or summer.

Amazfit has been busy recently

The new leaks come at a time when the Amazfit brand is actively expanding in the Czech market. Only recently, we informed you about the launch of the Active 3 Premium watch, which targets runners of all levels. The model with a 1.32″ AMOLED display and sapphire glass has been available in our country since March 5 for 4,290 CZK.

A week earlier, the outdoor T-Rex Ultra 2 arrived in the Czech Republic, featuring an aircraft-grade titanium body, full-color offline maps, and a two-color LED flashlight. These watches, designed for extreme conditions, cost 13,990 CZK.
