An enthusiast created a render of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Am I the only one who would like such a phone?

Samsung’s flagship smartphones have been using practically the same design for years. From time to time, a minor adjustment is added, but at first glance, phones across generations are as similar as two peas in a pod. Some believe that more significant visual changes could arrive with the Galaxy S26 series, but personally, I’m a bit skeptical – Samsung obviously doesn’t like to change something that works. However, if the top-tier Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra looked like it does in the recently created fan render, I would be truly thrilled.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra inspired by Fold?

An image of the back of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, as envisioned by its creator, appeared on the social network Reddit. The phone in the render is depicted in a turquoise color, which is impressive in itself, but what caught my attention even more was the camera area. The three lenses located on the left side are unified into a single pill-shaped module that slightly protrudes from the back – just like on the Galaxy Z Fold series foldable phones.

This very change could refresh the upcoming Ultra a bit, although it’s a fact that this year’s model with rings around the lenses looked really great in terms of appearance. Feel free to let us know in the Community if you would like a similar design change.

Render might not be far from the truth

The best part is that the render itself might be relatively accurate. As popular leaker Ice Universe stated on social network X, the cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will “inevitably” protrude a bit more due to larger apertures for the main camera and the 5x telephoto lens, so it would ultimately make sense for Samsung to use a slightly protruding pill-shaped platform. “Therefore, the final design will most likely look like this,” the insider added.
