Accessory manufacturer Anker will expand its portfolio with a new Anker Prime Wireless Car Charger (MagGo, AirCool, Pad). The first official information about this product, designated A2933, has appeared on the company’s Japanese website, and it should offer several improvements over previous models. The main attractions will be Qi2.2 certification with magnetic phone attachment support, 25 W power, and a built-in cooling system.

Fast Charging with Active Cooling

Anker’s new car charger focuses primarily on maximum performance and safety. Thanks to Qi2.2 certification, it can wirelessly charge compatible devices with up to 25 W of power, which is significantly more than common models on the market. For power, it uses a USB-C input with up to 45 W support, and a car lighter adapter should also be included in the package.

An interesting feature is the integrated AirCool cooling fan, which prevents smartphone overheating during charging. This is especially important in a car environment, where interior temperatures can rise rapidly during summer months. The charger itself will be equipped with an indicator light for easy checking of the charging status and the option to adjust the viewing angle for optimal phone positioning during navigation.

Practical Solution for Modern Phones

With dimensions of approximately 93 × 93 × 69 mm, the charger is compact, yet robust enough for stable phone attachment. Mounting is achieved by attaching it to the ventilation opening in the dashboard, ensuring easy installation in virtually any vehicle. According to the published product images, it appears that the device will be available at least in black with a silver frame, possibly in other color variants as well.

Compared to previous standards, Qi2.2 technology also brings more precise foreign object detection, which increases charging safety. The magnetic phone attachment ensures that the device will not slip off the charger during driving, even during sharper maneuvers.

Compatibility and Suitable Phones

The Anker Prime Wireless Car Charger will be primarily designed for devices with MagSafe or Qi2 support, including all iPhone models from the 12 series upwards (including the latest iPhone 17 series) and also Google Pixel 10 in all variants. Owners of Samsung Galaxy S25 phones will need to use a special magnetic case, as these models do not have integrated magnets for attachment directly in the phone body.

Thanks to its high 25 W power, the charger will be especially suitable for users who need to quickly charge their phone during shorter drives or use navigation, which typically requires more power. Active cooling will also enable safe charging even with more demanding phone usage.

Availability and Price

According to information from Anker’s Japanese website, the Prime Wireless Car Charger should be launched in autumn 2025, with Japan likely being the first country. We do not yet have official information on availability in Europe, specifically in the Czech Republic.

The expected price in the USA should be 69.99 dollars, which is approximately 1,450 CZK in current conversion without VAT. This price is 10 dollars higher than the previous Anker Nano Wireless Car Charger model, which corresponds to improvements in the form of higher power and added active cooling.

Whether and when the charger will reach Czech distribution is not yet known, but Anker commonly offers its products on our market, so it is likely that we will see it here eventually.

Would you use a wireless car charger with these parameters?
