Anker's cheap robotic lawnmower has an AI camera. It's great for smaller gardens and can be ordered to the Czech Republic Home News Anker's eufy Robot Lawn Mower C15 mows without a perimeter wire, with an AI camera handling navigation The mower is suitable for smaller gardens, recognizes over 300 types of obstacles, and even avoids hedgehogs in the grass In the introductory offer, it costs 746.17 € (approx. 18,100 CZK converted) and can be ordered to the Czech Republic directly from the manufacturer's website Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 23. 5. 2026 00:30 Advertisement For a long time, a robotic lawnmower meant one thing: spending a weekend burying a perimeter wire around flowerbeds and then praying that a mole wouldn’t chew through it after winter. However, the new generation of devices avoids this ordeal, with a camera and artificial intelligence handling navigation. Following brands like Segway or Mammotion, eufy, Anker’s smart home division, is now entering this wave with its cheapest model – the Robot Lawn Mower C15. Camera instead of wires and RTK antenna Recognizes over 300 obstacles, even avoids hedgehogs Who is the mower suitable for? Camera instead of wires and RTK antenna The main draw of the C15 is its navigation system, which eufy calls TrueVision. Instead of a buried perimeter wire or an external RTK antenna, the mower relies on front-mounted cameras and artificial intelligence algorithms. This allows it to map the garden itself and calculate an efficient mowing route – essentially, you just need to start the machine and let it get acquainted with the property. This eliminates the most annoying part of installation, which takes hours of cable laying with traditional robots. However, Notebookcheck’s review points out that the mapping phase itself takes some time, so “done in five minutes” from the advertisement should be taken more as a marketing slogan than the reality of the first startup. All settings are managed via the mobile application. In it, you can create multiple mowing zones, define forbidden areas for the robot to avoid, and schedule times. If it starts raining or lighting conditions, to which camera navigation is sensitive, worsen, the mower will automatically return to its charging station. Recognizes over 300 obstacles, even avoids hedgehogs The same cameras used for navigation also monitor obstacles. eufy states that the 3D detection system recognizes and bypasses over 300 types of objects – from garden tools and toys to trees and narrow passages. The goal is for the robot not to stop unnecessarily or mow in jerky halts. More interesting, however, is its consideration for living creatures. According to the manufacturer, the C15 can recognize hedgehogs and other small animals and safely bypass them, which Notebookcheck’s tests confirmed as reliable. However, there’s a “but”: eufy itself recommends not using the mower at night, precisely when hedgehogs are most active. The Ride-on-Edge technology, complemented by parallel patterns and automatic trimming, then takes care of mowing flowerbeds right to the edge. Who is the mower suitable for? In terms of parameters, the C15 is clearly positioned below the more expensive E15 and E18 models. It is recommended for lawns up to 500 m², can handle around 200 m² on a single charge, and has an hourly throughput of approximately 80 m². The cutting blade has a cutting width of 180 mm, the mowing height can be set from 20 to 60 mm, and the robot can also handle slopes up to 32% (18°). Charging takes approximately 90 to 110 minutes, and the manufacturer states the operating noise level is around 56–58 dB, so it should not disturb even in densely populated areas. Regarding the price, in the current introductory offer, the C15 costs 746.17 € (approximately 18,100 CZK converted) compared to the usual 899 € (about 21,800 CZK). The mower can be ordered directly from the manufacturer’s website and delivered to the Czech Republic. Who does the C15 make sense for? It’s an entry ticket into the world of smart mowing for owners of smaller, urban gardens who don’t want to lay wires or deal with RTK. However, for whom it won’t be enough: the 500 m² limit (and 200 m² per charge) cuts off larger properties, camera navigation doesn’t like darkness, and edge cutting under 15 cm means that around walls and curbs, you sometimes won’t be able to do without manual trimming. Those who need to cover a larger lawn will prefer the E15 (800 m²) or E18 (1,200 m²) from the same family – or competitors like Segway Navimow. Also, pay attention to the service aspect: when purchasing from a foreign e-shop, you handle potential complaints differently than with a domestic retailer. Would you let a robot that navigates by camera take care of your garden?
