Anker surprised with projectors featuring unconventional sound solutions. One has a detachable speaker, the other relies on a flip-up mechanism

Anker has unveiled two new projectors from the Nebula series, which stand out from the competition with their unusual speaker solutions. The Nebula P1 model features a detachable speaker, while the Nebula P1i relies on a flip-up design for its sound system. Both devices will be launched under the soundcore brand.

Nebula P1 with a modular speaker

The main novelty is the Nebula P1, which Anker calls the first portable projector with a detachable speaker. This solution allows the sound unit to be used independently or placed in an optimal position for better spatial sound. The projector will be available from October 6, 2025 for a pre-sale price of $719, which translates to almost 15 thousand Czech crowns.

From the available images, it is evident that the Nebula P1 has a “portrait” oriented design with a prominent lens on the front. The speaker forms a separate unit that connects to the projector magnetically or mechanically. Anker has not yet released technical specifications such as resolution, brightness, or supported formats.

Nebula P1i with flexible speakers

The second model introduced is the Nebula P1i, which features flip-up speakers. These can be adjusted to different angles as needed to sound the room. This solution is designed to ensure optimal sound distribution regardless of the projector’s placement in the space.

The manufacturer has not revealed detailed specifications for the P1i model either. From the visual materials, it is clear that the projector will have a smaller body with integrated speakers on the sides of the device. The price and release date have not yet been announced.

Anker entices with generous bonuses

For the P1 projector, Anker will offer several bonuses for early customers: in addition to an $80 discount, they will also receive a projector screen worth $169 and double credits worth $15. The company guarantees free shipping, a 30-day return policy, and lifetime customer support.

Both projectors target users looking for a flexible home cinema solution with portability. Whether these new products will reach the Czech market is not yet clear.
