AnTuTu has a new king! It's the monstrous Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, and the second and third places are also no surprise Home News The Xiaomi 17 series took the top three spots in the latest AnTuTu performance ranking All three models use the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset The dominance probably won't last long – the Honor Magic 8 achieved an even higher score Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 1. 10. 2025 12:30 Advertisement The Chinese company Xiaomi introduced the Xiaomi 17 series as the very first phones with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, so it’s no surprise that they took home gold, silver, and bronze medals in the latest AnTuTu performance ranking. The competition has not yet even introduced its flagships with this chipset. The Xiaomi 17 Pro Max took first place with an average score of 3,507,568 points, followed closely by the Xiaomi 17 Pro with 3,503,549 points, and in third place is the base Xiaomi 17 with 3,492,566 points. AnTuTu V11: not comparable with the past Important note: the latest ranking uses AnTuTu V11, which is an updated version of the benchmarking software. AnTuTu itself warns that V11 scores cannot be compared with V10 because the testing methodology has changed. This means that the numbers you see now are not comparable to previous months. If the old methodology had remained, the results would look different. This way, everyone is essentially starting from scratch. The rest of the top 10: only Chinese phones Following the top three Xiaomi phones are other Chinese flagships, mostly equipped with the older Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (without the “Gen 5” suffix): 4th place: iQOO Neo 10 Pro+ (Snapdragon 8 Elite) – 3,342,128 points 5th place: Vivo X200 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Elite) – 3,324,527 points 6th place: RedMagic 10 Pro+ (Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version) – 3,204,561 points 7th place: Oppo Find X8 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Elite) – 3,137,585 points 8th place: Honor GT Pro (overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite) – 3,132,141 points 9th place: Vivo X200S (Dimensity 9400+) – 3,063,873 points 10th place: Redmi K80 Pro (Snapdragon 8 Elite) – 2,947,253 points Note that there isn’t a single phone in the entire ranking that is officially available in the Czech Republic. This is exclusively the Chinese market, where manufacturers usually test their new products first. Honor Magic 8 will likely dethrone Xiaomi Xiaomi probably won’t enjoy its dominance in the AnTuTu ranking for long. Recently, the score of the Honor Magic 8 phone, which also uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, appeared, and its result is even higher than that of the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. As soon as the Honor Magic 8 is officially introduced and appears in the next monthly AnTuTu ranking, Xiaomi will likely drop to lower positions. And with more phones featuring this chipset, the ranking will change every month. What does this mean in practice? AnTuTu is a synthetic benchmark that tests the processor, graphics, memory, and storage. However, the resulting score doesn’t tell the whole story about how a phone performs in everyday use. A phone with a lower score might be faster at opening apps, have better system optimization, or better battery life. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 is undoubtedly a powerful chipset, but the differences between phones in the TOP 10 are minimal. In practice, you would hardly notice the difference between the first and fifth place. For us in the Czech Republic, this is purely an academic debate – you cannot officially buy any of these phones here. The Xiaomi 17 is currently only released in China, as are most of the other models in the ranking. Do you follow AnTuTu benchmarks, or are you not interested?
