A few days ago, we informed you about the leaked European price of the Xiaomi 17; now we’re learning the same about the photography-focused Ultra model. According to a reliable leaker known as Arsène Lupin, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to cost 1,499 euros (approximately 36,400 CZK converted) in Europe for the configuration with 16 GB RAM and 512GB storage. The price thus remains at the level of last year’s model, which arrived in the Czech Republic with an official price of 34,999 CZK.

Smaller Battery Than in China

Similar to the base Xiaomi 17, the Ultra version also repeats the scenario with a reduced battery. While the Chinese variant features a 6,800mAh cell, the global model will settle for 6,000 mAh. The 800 mAh difference is more noticeable than in the base model, where it is approximately 670 mAh. In any case, the phone supports 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

As for color variants, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will arrive in Europe in white, black, and reportedly a striking green. Another interesting shade, purple (Cold Smoke Purple), is said to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

What Can We Look Forward To?

Let’s recall that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra primarily entices with its photographic equipment. The main Light Hunter 1050L sensor with a 1-inch area and LOFIC technology is complemented by a 200Mpx telephoto lens with continuous optical zoom in the 75–100 mm range. A 50Mpx ultrawide-angle lens completes the trio.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, the display has a diagonal of 6.85 inches with a brightness of up to 3,500 nits, and its thickness of just 8.29 mm makes it the thinnest model in the Ultra series’ history.

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the official launch in Europe, including the Czech Republic. According to fresh information from leaker Yogesh Brar, the global models of the Xiaomi 17 series could be unveiled to the world as early as February 28.

Would you buy the Xiaomi 17 Ultra even with a smaller battery?
