As part of Black Friday, Alza is dropping the price of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro phone from the original 12,990 CZK (May 2025) to 7,990 CZK. For eight thousand, you get a 6.7″ P-OLED display with 120 Hz, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme, a triple camera with a 3x telephoto lens, and most importantly, phenomenal battery life – the 6000 mAh Si/C cell ranks among the top 10 phones tested by foreign reviewers in recent years. The original price of 13 thousand was average to below average, but for 8 thousand, it’s a great deal.

Battery Life: Top 10 in Recent Years

The biggest advantage of the Motorola Edge 60 Pro is its battery life. PhoneArena measured 8 hours 34 minutes in their battery life test (the average is 7h 18min) – this is the 15th place among all phones tested in the last 2 years. Specifically: 18h 44min browsing, 12h 21min video, 13h 40min gaming.

The reviewer writes: “At the end of the day, I had 60% battery left, even on weekends when I spent more time on YouTube or gaming.”

What Else Works Well

Display: 6.7″ P-OLED with 2712×1220 resolution, 120Hz and 4500 nits peak brightness. It is very bright, sharp, 10-bit, and supports HDR10+.

Cameras: Triple setup – 50MP main (f/1.8, OIS), 50MP ultrawide (an upgrade from last year’s 13MP), and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens. PhoneArena rates: “Solid photo quality from all cameras. The ultrawide has been nicely improved.”

But beware – video is a problem. PhoneArena: “As soon as you start moving, video stabilization is terrible. Ultrawide video is bad under all circumstances.” This is a significant drawback if you shoot videos often.

Performance is very solid. The MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Extreme is better than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and scores 1.3 million points in AnTuTu. It is complemented by 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0.

Conclusion: A Great Deal for 8 Thousand, If You Don’t Shoot Videos

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro for 7,990 CZK is a significantly better deal than for the original 13 thousand. Foreign reviews rated the phone as “average for its price” – PhoneArena gave it 6.8/10, which is exactly average for this price category. But that applied to 600 euros (approx. 15 thousand CZK). For 8 thousand, it’s a different league.

If you don’t shoot videos often and don’t mind only 3 years of updates, this is one of the best Black Friday deals in the phone category. Phenomenal battery life, telephoto lens, 90W charging, IP69 resistance, and clean Android for eight thousand – that’s a solid package. The phone is available in stock at Alza.
