Best phone under 14 thousand? Xiaomi 15T Pro is cheaper again, has 5x periscopic telephoto lens, Leica optics and insane performance

The phone, which in our review received 92% and the epithet “best value Android”, now costs even less. The Xiaomi 15T Pro 12/512 GB is sold on Heureka from 13,990 CZK — without a contract, on the T-Mobile e-shop. The original price was 20,990 CZK, then it dropped below 15 thousand and now it’s 14. Last Christmas it was briefly available for 12, but that was only a few units. Even at the current price, it’s a very good value phone.

Quick summary:
✅ It makes sense if you want flagship performance, a premium camera with 5× zoom and two-day battery life — and you don’t want to pay over twenty thousand for it.
⚠️ Consider that software support is 4 years (competitors offer 6–7), HyperOS has its quirks and the charger is missing from the package.

Why it has no competition for 14 thousand

The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, manufactured with a 3nm process, is on par with the Snapdragon 8 Elite in terms of performance — it achieves over 2.6 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks. The 6.83″ AMOLED display with 144 Hz and a brightness of 3,200 nits is among the brightest panels on the market. The 5,500 mAh battery, combined with an efficient chip, lasts 8–9 hours of active screen time — comfortably two days without charging.

And then there’s the camera. The triple Leica setup includes a 50Mpx main sensor, a 12Mpx ultrawide, and most importantly, a 50Mpx periscopic telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom. Almost no one has that at a price under 15 thousand. Digital zoom is usable up to 15–20×, Leica Authentic and Vibrant styles give photos character without excessive processing. Video handles 4K/60fps with HDR10+ and stabilization.

What to consider

Software support of 4 years of updates + 6 years of security patches is decent, but Samsung offers 6 and Google 7 years. HyperOS has a few unnecessary apps after the first launch — most can be uninstalled, and there are no system ads in the EU version.
