Blockbusters on the horizon! The Redmi Note 15 series is knocking, Xiaomi revealed the design of Pro models

Xiaomi officially revealed the look of the anticipated Redmi Note 15 Pro models on Weibo. Along with the first official images came the confirmation of the launch date – the new devices will be unveiled in China as early as Thursday, August 21. The base Pro model and the more equipped Pro+ version will bring several interesting design changes compared to their predecessors, including flat side edges, which are now in vogue.

New design with flat edges

The design of the new generation Redmi Note combines proven elements with modern trends. The prominent camera module remains located in the center of the upper part of the back, but this time Xiaomi decided to opt for flat side edges, which are found on most current flagship phones. From the images, it is clear that both models maintain a clean, minimalist look with an emphasis on symmetry. How the cheaper members of the Redmi Note 15 family will look is not yet clear, but I would guess that they will not differ significantly from last year’s generation.

Increased durability with IP69K certification

Xiaomi has significantly improved the durability of both models. Both Redmi Note 15 and Note 15 Pro+ will receive IP69K certification, which represents an advancement over the common IP68 standard. This rating guarantees protection against high-temperature and high-pressure water jets, which in practice means that the phones can survive even washing in a dishwasher or intensive cleaning with a hot water jet.

The Pro+ model will also receive premium Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass, which the manufacturer describes as the most durable in its class. The rear panel made of glass fibers is said to be 10 times more durable than the previous generation, which will significantly reduce the risk of damage from drops.

When will it arrive in the Czech Republic?

While Chinese customers will see the new models as early as this week, European fans will have to wait. According to Xiaomi’s usual practices, it can be expected that the Redmi Note 15 series will arrive on the Czech market only at the beginning of next year, likely in January or February 2026.

Until then, we can look forward to further spec leaks and initial reviews from China, which will give us a better idea of what to expect from the new models. Given the popularity of previous generations of the Redmi Note series in the Czech Republic, it is almost certain that we will see an official launch.
