The main advantage is mesh support: if one router doesn’t cover your entire apartment, you can buy a second unit, and both units will create one continuous network, which devices automatically switch between. So you don’t have to buy an entire mesh set right away – you start with one router and expand when needed.

Features include VPN directly in the router (so you can set up an encrypted connection for the entire household at once), parental control to limit children’s time and content, and a firewall.
