Getting a 65-inch OLED TV for under 21 thousand crowns sounds quite appealing. And yet, that’s exactly what’s happening on the Czech market right now. The Panasonic TB-65Z60AEG is available on Planeo.cz for 20,990 CZK after applying the code PLANEODNY_30. From its original price of 44,990 CZK, this is a drop of almost half. When compared across the market, it is the absolute cheapest 65″ OLED in Czechia — all other models from LG, Samsung, or Philips start at least two to four thousand higher.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you’re looking for a large OLED TV with deep blacks and excellent contrast for minimal money. For watching movies, series, and sports broadcasts, it will be a cinema-like experience.
⚠️ Consider that the 20W speakers are rather average — for a full experience, consider an external soundbar. And the TiVo OS smart system is an interesting alternative, but not as widespread as Google TV or webOS.
💡 For 20,990 CZK you get a 65″ OLED panel with 4K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, support for all HDR formats (HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and HLG), Game Mode Plus with HDMI 2.1, Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and control via Google Home and Amazon Alexa.

Why this offer makes exceptional sense

OLED panels are still the pinnacle of current display technology — each pixel lights up independently and can turn off completely, which delivers perfect blacks and infinite contrast that no LED or Mini LED technology can fully replicate. Viewing angles are equally important — on an OLED, the image loses nothing in terms of color from the side, so if you have a wider living room or watch in a group from different spots, the picture will be equally good everywhere. Panasonic relies on the 4K Colour Engine chipset for this model, which ensures natural colors and precise contrast balance.

For gamers, there’s Game Mode Plus with HDMI 2.1 and a special Game Control Board, through which you can quickly fine-tune settings for various game genres. The 120 Hz refresh rate can handle PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X to their full potential. As for sound — Dolby Atmos combined with integrated speakers does a decent job for movies, but I would definitely complement such a TV with a soundbar. And finally — the bezel-less silver design truly looks elegant and fits into most modern living rooms.

What to expect

A fair mention — TiVo OS is a relatively new system on the market. Panasonic deployed it as an alternative to Google TV or Fire TV, and although you’ll find all the main streaming apps (Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, OnePlay) in it, the interface might appear different to some than what they are used to from LG or Samsung.

The TV has a classic OLED panel (not QD-OLED or MLA), so at maximum brightness on a bright sunny day, it won’t be as luminous as modern Mini LED competitors — but in a darkened room, OLED beats them all.

Do you prefer deep blacks from an OLED TV, or would you rather opt for a brighter Mini LED panel?
