CMF Phone 3 Pro specifications leak, will it be another bullseye?

While the parent company Nothing has not been performing as expected lately, its budget-oriented sub-brand CMF has established itself quite well in international markets. Its offerings include a relatively wide range of accessories as well as smartphones, with the CMF Phone 2 Pro, in particular, earning recommendations in numerous reviews. Its success was primarily due to its excellent price/performance ratio, and it can be expected that its successor, the CMF Phone 3 Pro, will bet on the same recipe, with some of its specifications having prematurely leaked.

Will the CMF Phone 3 Pro bring rather minor improvements?

One of the cornerstones of the CMF Phone 2 Pro‘s success was undoubtedly its decent performance, provided by the relatively modern Mediatek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip. In this area, the new model should see a slight improvement. The CMF Phone 3 Pro is expected to offer the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip. The battery should also receive a rather modest but welcome upgrade. The original model has a capacity of 5,000 mAh, while the new model is rumored to have values like 5,400 to 5,500 mAh.

In addition to a larger battery, the new model is also expected to offer faster charging. And just like with battery capacity, it won’t be a drastic increase, but we would also welcome 45W instead of the original 33W power. The display will again be an AMOLED type with a resolution of 2392 × 1080 px, however, leaks do not yet mention its potential diagonal. Information about the cameras is also very general for now. According to them, the CMF Phone 3 should arrive with a redesigned triple camera system on the back.

Interestingly, last but not least, is the information about the use of a metal frame, which raises the question of whether there will be an intergenerational price increase, or how significant that increase would be? After all, there aren’t many phones with a metal construction priced around 7 thousand. The official launch date for the CMF Phone 3 Pro is not yet known. We can only remind you that the CMF Phone 2 Pro was unveiled almost a year ago, on April 29.
