Czechs, attention! The Tefal 3-in-1 fryer used to cost 6 thousand, now it's less than half.

Air fryers have become a standard in Czech households. However, most of them essentially do the same thing – heat air and try to imitate frying. Tefal Easy Fry & Steam goes further and adds a steam cooking function, making it a true 3-in-1 device. And now it has reached its historically lowest price.

The Tefal FW201815 Easy Fry & Steam model appeared on the Czech market in 2021 for 5,199 CZK. Two years later, in 2023, its price paradoxically rose to 6,189 CZK – probably due to inflation. As recently as August 2025, it was selling for 4,999 CZK.

But now, with code ALZADNY40, it has dropped to 2,557 CZK. This is a 59% decrease compared to the price peak in 2023 and half of the August price. It is a historical minimum and also the best price on the Czech market.

Why steam cook?

The main advantage of this fryer is the steam cooking function. While conventional air fryers only circulate hot air, the Tefal Easy Fry & Steam has a built-in 1.1-liter water tank, which provides up to 85 minutes of operation. Steam preserves vitamins and nutrients that are lost during classic frying or baking.

It is especially suitable for preparing fish, vegetables, or first solid foods for children. Broccoli will remain crispy and green, salmon juicy, and carrots sweet. And if you have children on BLW (baby-led weaning), parents will appreciate the ability to quickly prepare healthy pieces without oil.

Control is digital with an LCD display and seven automatic programs. You’ll find modes for chicken, fish, vegetables, desserts, or frozen foods. Temperature regulation runs from 80 °C to 200 °C, so you can set exactly what you need. A 60-minute timer with automatic shut-off and audible signal is also available.

Where are the compromises

No product is perfect. The most criticized feature is the inability to change the temperature or time during operation. If you find that the food needs more time, you have to turn off the program and re-enter it. With competitors, this is sometimes possible on the fly, but not here.

Another minor detail – the surface is entirely plastic, so you need to be careful when handling the hot basket. One reviewer mentions being concerned about damage due to inattention. On the other hand, removable parts are dishwasher safe, which simplifies maintenance.

And then there are complaints. The complaint rate is 3.7%, which is not a bad number, but one Slovak customer writes that the fryer was in service three times during the year due to problems with the steam system. Fortunately, Tefal offers a 15-year repairability guarantee, so even if something goes wrong, you’ll be able to get spare parts.

Who this discount is suitable for

Primarily for families with children. The steam function is ideal for preparing first solid foods or healthy snacks. If you are interested in healthier cooking without fat, you will appreciate the ability to prepare fish or vegetables without having to wait for the oven to heat up.

It is also suitable for people who want to save on energy. A fryer with a power consumption of 1600–1900 W consumes significantly less than an oven with 2500–3000 W. And if you cook every day, you will see the difference on your electricity bill.

However, if you are looking purely for a fryer for fries and nuggets, feel free to opt for a cheaper model without steam. The steam cooking function only makes sense if you will actually use it.
