A wireless mechanical keyboard with Czech keys, a numeric keypad, and Gateron switches – for 1,499 CZK. This is a combination you practically won’t find on the market. Rapture FOXTROT for 1,499 CZK with code ALZADNY25 offers pre-lubricated Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red, hot-swappable switches (hotswap), PBT keycaps, Gasket Mount construction, and a battery for weeks of operation. Over 1,000 units sold confirm that there is interest in this keyboard – but before you buy it, read what 57 customers say about it. It has one recurring drawback.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you are looking for a mechanical wireless keyboard with CZ/SK layout and numpad at a reasonable price – for 1,499 CZK, it is unique in its category.
⚠️ Consider if you need to see key labels in the dark – the RGB backlight only illuminates around the keys, not through the letters. This is the most common complaint.
💡 For 1,499 CZK you get Gateron Red, hotswap, PBT keycaps, Gasket Mount, three connection modes, and an 8,000 mAh battery.

What you get for the money

Rapture FOXTROT uses linear switches Gateron G Pro 3.0 Red – pre-lubricated from the factory, with an actuation force of 45 cN, a pre-travel of 2 mm, and a total travel of 4 mm. Lifespan of 100 million presses. The switches are hotswap (PCB supports both 3 and 5-pin), so you can replace them at any time with others without soldering – a keycap puller and switch puller are included in the package. The keycaps are made of opaque PBT plastic with an OEM profile – more durable and pleasant to the touch than cheaper ABS. The layout is CZ/SK (ANSI with Czech and Slovak characters, without stickers). The Gasket Mount construction with gaskets between the chassis dampens vibrations and reduces noise.

There are three connection options: 2.4 GHz (USB receiver included), Bluetooth (up to 3 devices), and USB-C cable (1.6 m, braided). Switching between devices and between Windows/macOS works via a keyboard shortcut. The 8,000 mAh battery lasts for weeks without charging, according to customers. The keyboard has 19 RGB backlight modes controllable directly from the keyboard (no software needed), 12 multimedia keys via Fn, and a Windows key lock. Weight 1,090 g – thanks to its metal construction, the keyboard is solidly heavy and doesn’t slide on the desk.

What 57 customers say

Satisfied customers (and they are the majority) repeatedly praise the build quality, pleasant and quiet press, robust metal construction, and price/performance ratio. “Absolutely incredible possibilities for the price,” one reviewer summarizes. Another appreciates that the Czech keys are directly on the keycaps – no stickers. The triple connection option and huge battery life are other frequent positives. A customer who bought the keyboard on sale for 1,200–1,400 CZK calls it an “ideal choice” in its category.

The most common complaint is clear and repeats across reviews: the RGB backlight only illuminates around the keys, not through the letters. PBT keycaps are opaque, so you cannot see the labels in the dark. One customer returned the keyboard within the 14-day period because of this. If you need to see characters in the dark, this will be a problem. Another recurring complaint: the spacebar is more sensitive than other keys – a light touch is enough for it to register a press. If you bump the desk, the keyboard might register a spacebar press. A solution exists: thanks to hotswap, you can put a heavier switch under the spacebar.

Less common, but important observations: charging is very slow – but this is compensated by the huge capacity, so you charge rarely. The keyboard does not have a dedicated application for advanced settings – everything is handled by keyboard shortcuts, which suits some (no bloatware) and is missed by others. After 30 seconds of inactivity, the keyboard goes to sleep – if you hold down only one key in a game, it might disconnect (you can work around this by occasionally pressing another key). A few customers dealt with a faulty unit (non-functional spacebar, Bluetooth) – complaints were resolved quickly.

Who it makes sense for

Rapture FOXTROT for 1,499 CZK is the best choice if you need a mechanical wireless keyboard with CZ/SK layout and a numeric keypad for a reasonable price. Gateron Red are quiet and smooth, hotswap allows for future modifications, and PBT keycaps will last for years. However, if you work in the dark and need to see characters on the keys, this is not the keyboard for you – the backlight is purely decorative. And if you prefer a larger single-row Enter or need Print Screen, the 98% format will not offer it.
