With code ALZADNY30, Alza sells it for 3 079 CZK. The manufacturer states a dehumidification capacity of 16 liters per day and recommends it for rooms up to 60 m², meaning it’s suitable for an entire smaller apartment, basement, or workshop.

A one-meter drain hose bypasses the two-liter tank

The condensate tank holds 2 liters, which is one-eighth of the declared daily capacity of 16 liters. If the device ran at full capacity, you would have to empty it up to eight times a day. Once full, the dehumidifier automatically turns off and waits for you to empty it.

You’ll therefore appreciate the 1-meter long hose the most. You can lead it into a bathtub, sink, or other drain, the water drains by itself, and the device can run without interruptions. However, one meter means the dehumidifier must stand directly next to the drain, not in the middle of the living room.

Target humidity, three modes, and night dimming

It is controlled by touch buttons on the top, or via Wi-Fi in the Tuya app for both Android and iOS. You can set the target humidity from 20 to 95 %, and the display shows current humidity and temperature. The seller recommends a range of 40 to 60 % for household use.

Automatic mode dehumidifies until the set humidity is reached. Continuous mode runs without a target value, which makes sense especially with a drain hose. The fan can be set to two speeds, and the timer turns off the device after 1 to 24 hours.

For night, there’s a separate button that dims the panel and display backlighting and switches the fan to low speed. A child lock disables the control buttons. The manufacturer states a maximum noise level of 38 dB.

Laundry on a drying rack and unheated room

The third mode is for drying laundry. The dehumidifier maintains low humidity, and laundry on the drying rack dries naturally, just faster. Siguro promises up to double the speed compared to regular drying, but this is a manufacturer’s claim.

The Anti-Freeze function and automatic defrosting are designed to protect the device from freezing, so according to the seller, it can handle an unheated room, such as a cottage or basement. The activated carbon filter, washable nylon filter, and ionization are more of a bonus; the main reason for purchase remains dehumidification.

Twelve kilograms on wheels and 270 W power consumption

With dimensions of 500 × 200 × 280 mm and a weight of 12 kg, it’s not a small box you can easily carry from floor to floor. However, you can move it between rooms on its wheels. The cable measures 150 cm and the power consumption is 270 W.

Price with code has held since last week

Without the code, the dehumidifier costs 4 399 CZK; with code ALZADNY30, it’s 3 079 CZK. This isn’t a fresh discount; Alza’s listing showed the same price with the code as early as October 13. At the time of writing, Alza had more than five units in stock.

Siguro provides an extended 3-year warranty on its products and promises quick replacement directly at branches in case of issues.

Those who place it near a bathtub or in a basement with a drain and let it run in automatic mode will get the most out of it. Those without a nearby drain will be buying a device that stops every two liters for the same price.
