According to Dealabs, the London-based brand Nothing is preparing to expand its offering with an affordable mid-range smartphone. The Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is expected to arrive on the European market as early as November 4th with a significantly lower price tag than current models. While the standard Phone (3a) is offered by major retailers in the Czech Republic for 9,190 CZK, the new model could come with a price tag of around six thousand Czech crowns.

Price corresponding to the lower mid-range

Dealabs, which has long-standing reliable sources regarding European electronics launches, states specific prices for individual markets. In France, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite should cost 249.99 euros (approximately 6,100 CZK), while in other European countries it could be as low as 239.99 euros (about 5,800 CZK). This represents a significant price difference compared to the standard Phone (3a) model, which in its basic 8GB/128GB configuration costs 9,190 CZK at Czech retailers.

According to available information, the phone will only be available in a single memory configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Customers will be able to choose from two color variants – black and white.

Technical specifications remain a mystery

No one has yet revealed the specific specifications of the Phone (3a) Lite. We can only speculate on what will be cut from the new model compared to the standard Phone (3a). The latter offers a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits. Under the hood, it features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor complemented by 8 GB of RAM.

The photographic equipment of the Phone (3a) consists of a 50Mpx main sensor with optical stabilization, a 50Mpx telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8Mpx ultrawide lens. A 32Mpx front camera is used for selfies. Power is supplied by a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 50W fast charging and 7.5W reverse charging. The phone runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.1 overlay and has IP64 certification.

Where will Nothing save with the Lite version?

Given the significantly lower price, we can expect the Phone (3a) Lite to come with several compromises. It will probably get a weaker processor, perhaps a mid-range one from MediaTek. The camera setup might then lose the telephoto lens.
