The Galaxy Tab S11 is out, which means only one thing – the previous generation is dropping in price. Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ remains one of the best Android tablets on the market and is now nine thousand cheaper. The S Pen is included in the package.

A display that still belongs to the top tier

The 12.4″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a resolution of 2800 × 1752 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate is sharp and smooth. The anti-reflective coating significantly improves outdoor readability – reviews mention that you can use the tablet even in well-lit environments without issues.

The iPad Pro with Tandem OLED has better brightness (1000 nits vs 650 nits), but it’s also significantly more expensive in this size. Instead of Snapdragon, you’ll find MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ with 12 GB RAM here. Surprisingly, it works excellently – Lightroom, games, and multi-window multitasking run without problems. The cooling keeps the tablet comfortable even under prolonged load.

The 10,090 mAh battery lasts a full day of intensive use. 45W charging (adapter not included) recharges the tablet in about 90 minutes. It’s not fast, but acceptable given the capacity.

The AKG-tuned speakers are excellent according to reviews – they sound great even at full volume, which is not a given for tablets.

S Pen included

The S Pen is included in the package and charges wirelessly on the back of the tablet. Magnets in the corners allow for quick storage without having to hide it on the back.

Samsung promises 7 years of software updates, but security patches only arrive quarterly – not monthly like with flagship phones. For a tablet originally priced at 31 thousand, this is disappointing.

An Android tablet is not an iPad

This needs to be said upfront: the Android app ecosystem on tablets lags behind. You won’t find Procreate, full Photoshop, or DaVinci Resolve here. DeX mode is great for basic work, but mobile Chrome doesn’t handle some web applications as well as Safari on iPad.

If you primarily need a tablet for media, notes, and lighter work, the Tab S10+ excels. If you need professional creative applications, an iPad is still a better choice.
