A post from a Community Blogger has appeared in the Samsung community forum, announcing the recruitment of new Stars. In the post, you will find many interesting promises that may appeal to many fans of this brand.

Samsung Community is the official discussion forum of Samsung. From mobile phones and tablets, it can be accessed directly from the Members app, but the forum also supports access via a web browser, of course. So, if you have a problem with a device other than a phone or tablet, you can get advice from experts, for example, from a computer.

The forum functions like any other; people advise each other, share experiences, or even photos taken with Samsung devices. In addition, various competitions are occasionally held here.

Who is a Star

Stars are special members of the discussion forum. They have a direct connection to Samsung and should be well-versed in products and applications. If regular users cannot answer a question, Stars step in. The most active ones respond very quickly and exhaustively.

Why would you want to be a Star

For their activity, Stars do not receive any financial compensation. However, Samsung promises the possibility of borrowing interesting devices for testing, invitations to various events, or getting acquainted with new products in advance. Samsung specifically mentions an event in New York, at which, to my knowledge, no one from the Czech Samsung Community was present.

However, I can confirm that it works; I myself was in San Francisco in 2020 for the Galaxy S20 unveiling and in Seoul for the Samsung Connect event. Not to mention several participations at the IFA trade fair.

But you don’t get anything for free. You really need to be well-oriented, willing and able to answer both complex and constantly recurring questions (when will an update for a 5-year-old model be released), and be truly active.

How to become a Star

Simply reply to the post in the community forum and pass a 3-month trial period. Over time, you can work your way up to a 3-star Star and gain further opportunities.
