Owners of last year’s mid-range model Samsung Galaxy A35 have finally received the latest version of the user interface. The South Korean manufacturer has started globally distributing the One UI 8 update based on Android 16, and the good news is that users in Central Europe are also receiving it. Several countries have already reported the update’s availability, and Samsung’s community forum confirms that the update is spreading in Slovakia, and therefore most likely in the Czech Republic as well.

A Major Update with Many New Features

The One UI 8 update for Galaxy A35 is 2.3 GB in size and brings the latest Android 16 along with security patches from September 2025. Given the data volume, we recommend downloading the update via a Wi-Fi connection. Samsung introduced this phone as one of its best available models of 2024, and now it’s providing it with the latest software.

What One UI 8 with Android 16 Brings

Based on available information, the One UI 8 update brings a number of user interface improvements and new features. Unlike One UI 7, which brought a complete redesign, version 8 focuses primarily on enhancing existing features and optimizing performance. New features include Audio Eraser for automatic suppression of wind and ambient noise during recording, the Now Brief function for displaying personalized information, and an improved AI Select mode for faster work with artificial intelligence.

Samsung has also significantly improved the Calendar and Reminders apps, which now offer better integration and mutual cooperation. In the Calendar app, reminders can be easily created without having to switch to a separate app. One UI 8 also brings enhanced Galaxy AI tools for assistance with writing, photo editing, and during calls, along with strengthened Knox security.

Other Devices Receiving One UI 8

In recent days, Samsung has extended the availability of One UI 8 to other models. The Galaxy S23 series, foldable models Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5, and even tablets, led by the Galaxy Tab S10+, have already received the update.

It is important to mention that the Galaxy A35 is among more than 40 devices that Samsung plans to update to One UI 8 this year. Owners of this phone can also look forward to a future One UI 8.5 update, which is expected to arrive in the first half of next year and bring further design changes.

How to Check for Update Availability

If you want to check if the One UI 8 update is available for your Samsung Galaxy A35, simply go to Settings and look for the software updates section. If you don’t yet have the option to update on your phone, a few days’ wait will probably suffice.
