Do you carry a handful of chargers and cables when you travel and want to simplify? The AlzaPower Ultimate X700 now costs 944 CZK with code ALZADNY30. One compact box that can power a laptop and a couple of phones simultaneously – and it has a few features worth considering.

Quick summary:
Good buy if you want to power a laptop, phone, and tablet simultaneously with one charger and appreciate a display with live power output – ideal for travel.
⚠️ Keep in mind that it weighs 230 g and, according to owners, tends to fall out of looser sockets, the cable is not included in the package, and charging briefly interrupts when another device is connected.
💡 For 944 CZK with code ALZADNY30, you can replace three chargers with a single 100W one.

Three USB-C and a hundred watts in one box

The main advantage is its power and number of ports. The charger offers three USB-C outputs with Power Delivery up to 100 W and one USB-A with 30 W, so you can power a laptop, phone, and tablet simultaneously with one box. Thanks to GaN technology, everything fits into a body less than ten centimeters in size and supports common fast charging standards – PD 3.0, Quick Charge 3.0, Samsung AFC, Huawei FCP, and Apple 2.4A. You get the full 100 W from one USB-C; when charging multiple devices, the power is distributed (e.g., 45 + 35 + 15 W). The integrated display showing current power input is practical – reviewers praise it, saying it glows subtly and doesn’t disturb at night. Safety is ensured by 4Safe protections against overvoltage, overload, overheating, and short circuit, and a non-flammable body. When traveling, you’ll especially appreciate that one adapter is enough instead of three.

What spoils the impression

However, reviews also point out weaker aspects. Most owners are concerned about the weight – 230 grams is quite a lot for a charger, and because of it, it tends to lean out of looser wall sockets; some even reported the plug moving. Second thing: no cable is included in the package, so you’ll need to buy a quality USB-C cable (especially for charging a laptop) separately. And thirdly, a characteristic common to AlzaPower GaN chargers – when you connect another device to an ongoing charge, the charger momentarily resets all ports and re-negotiates the power. This isn’t an issue for a phone, but a Raspberry Pi, for example, will restart. There was also an isolated complaint where ports stopped working after a few weeks – more of an exception, plus Alza offers immediate replacement for its products.

As an “all-in-one” travel charger for 944 CZK, the X700 does a good job – three fast USB-C ports, a hundred-watt output, and a display that keeps track of everything. However, before you plug it in, be aware that it’s heavier and you’ll need your own cable for it.

Would you swap three chargers for one hundred-watt one, or do you stick with your tried-and-true set?
