Foldable iPhone Ultra leaked. It will cost 50 thousand and an almost dead technology will return to it Home News Well-known leaker Ice Universe published photos of an alleged replica of the first foldable iPhone The dummy confirms the expected white variant as well as a camera module in the style of the iPhone Air, but its execution looks amateurish The foldable iPhone Ultra is expected to arrive in September 2026 with a price starting from 2,000 dollars Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 31. 5. 2026 22:30 Advertisement After the dummy units of iPhone 18 Pro, we have another leaked mockup — this time of a significantly more ambitious piece. Well-known leaker Ice Universe published images of an alleged replica of the foldable iPhone Ultra, a device with which Apple finally wants to enter a segment that Samsung has been managing for six generations. The leak confirms the expected colors and basic design elements, but the replica itself looks so unfinished that the camera module appears to be glued on additionally. The mockup is white, which corresponds to what has been discussed in the rumor mill for a long time. Apple is expected to opt for a conservative palette for its first foldable phone — white or silver on one side, black or space gray on the other. No Cherry, no Cosmic Orange, simply nothing that would flood Instagram. The camera module looks familiar at first glance, its appearance inspired by this year’s iPhone Air. However, on the published dummy, it looks literally glued to the back of the phone, which means only one thing — either the replica is truly unsuccessful, or Apple is planning to sell the camera separately. The second option is not very likely. Much more interesting is the expected technical foundation. The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a 5.5-inch external display and, when unfolded, a 7.8-inch internal OLED panel. Power will be provided by the upcoming A20 Pro chip manufactured with TSMC’s 2nm process, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM. The body is expected to combine titanium and aluminum, and the hinge reportedly will not leave a visible crease on the display — which is a technical requirement that took Samsung several generations to at least partially fulfill. Surprisingly, Touch ID located in the side button is returning. The reason is quite logical — Face ID would only work in certain positions on a foldable phone, and embedding it under the display to authenticate the user in both unfolded and folded states is technically much more challenging. Apple wants 2,000 dollars and more for the foldable iPhone, which would place it above current top-tier foldables from Samsung or Honor. The premiere is expected in September 2026 alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series, although a gradual rollout is not ruled out. If the current information is confirmed, it will be the most expensive and at the same time the latest entry of a major manufacturer into the foldable segment ever.
