Forget note-taking! Plaud Note Pro records your meetings and summarizes them in Czech Home News Plaud introduced the new Note Pro with a 0.95" AMOLED display and four microphones The device automatically transcribes recordings into 112 languages using AI models Note Pro weighs 30 grams and lasts up to 50 hours of recording on a single charge Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 31. 8. 2025 10:30 Advertisement Plaud has introduced the miniature device Note Pro, which is the size of a credit card and can automatically convert recorded conversations into text. This new device expands on the capabilities of the original model with double the recording range and features a 0.95-inch AMOLED display showing current information. It costs 189 euros in pre-sale, which is approximately 4,600 CZK. Four microphones capture sound from up to five meters Plaud Note Pro measures just 2.99 mm at its thinnest point and weighs only 30 grams. The device is also MagSafe compatible, so you can magnetically attach it to the back of your iPhone. Compared to the first generation, the Note Pro received four MEMS microphones instead of the original two, which, according to the manufacturer, allows recording sound from a distance of up to 5 meters (instead of the previous three). The microphones use AI beamforming technology, which focuses on the voice of a specific speaker and suppresses ambient noise. The device offers two recording modes. In Enhance mode, it lasts up to 30 hours of continuous recording with a full 5-meter range. Endurance mode extends battery life to 50 hours, but limits the range to 3 meters. However, most users will likely have no problem placing the Note Pro on a charger once every 30 hours, so they will only truly need to compromise on sound quality in critical situations. Transcription into 112 languages with important moment tagging Note Pro works with the Plaud companion app, which utilizes AI models including GPT from OpenAI, Claude from Anthropic, and Gemini from Google. The app can transcribe recordings into 112 languages, including Czech, and automatically identifies individual speakers. During recording, you can mark important moments with a short press of a button on the device, which the AI then processes with higher priority. The app creates multi-dimensional summaries of conversations from various perspectives. It offers over 3,000 templates for different professions (though the vast majority require an additional subscription) and allows data export to 27 formats. The Ask Plaud feature enables searching for information across all recordings and getting answers with links to specific parts of the transcriptions. Last but not least, Note Pro automatically recognizes whether you are recording a phone call or an in-person meeting and switches between the appropriate modes without the need for manual adjustment. Who is Note Pro for The device primarily targets managers and executives who attend many meetings and need a quick overview of discussed topics. It is also suitable for journalists and researchers conducting interviews, allowing them to fully concentrate on the conversation instead of taking notes. Students will appreciate the ability to record lectures and get structured summaries. However, it is always important to obtain consent from the other party before recording. The basic price includes 300 minutes of transcription per month for free. For higher usage, a subscription is available for $99.99 annually with a limit of 1,200 minutes per month, or $239.99 annually for unlimited transcription. Plaud Note Pro is available for pre-order with planned deliveries starting in October 2025. The company states that it has sold over a million units of its AI recording devices, with almost half of users paying for a premium subscription.
