While official distribution still charges over 16,000 CZK, smaller e-shops on Heureka offer it from 12,577 CZK from EU distribution. This is a decent drop, but at the same time, it’s still not a price at which the Galaxy S25 FE would be a clear choice. Let’s break down what you get for that money and if it makes sense when you could have, for example, the Xiaomi 15T for the same price. What the Galaxy S25 FE offers The Galaxy S25 FE is an upper-mid-range device with some flagship-level elements. It features a 6.7″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate (this time with LTPO, meaning dynamic frequency). The maximum brightness is around 1,350 nits, which is solid. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, the phone has IP68 certification and a metal frame, giving it a premium feel. Inside, the Samsung Exynos 2400 is at work, a chipset that Samsung also uses in the Galaxy S24 (in Europe). It’s a 4nm 10-core processor that achieves decent results in benchmarks, but occasionally has thermal management issues in practice. For everyday use, however, the latest FE is very snappy, and there will be no problems with lags. CHCI S25 FE V AKCI The cameras consist of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3× optical zoom. The main camera performs well in daylight, and the selfie camera (12 MPx) is very good. The problem is the telephoto lens – it only has 8 MPx, which is too little for detail when zoomed in, and the sensor is tiny. It will serve better as a stopgap than a digital crop, but don’t expect miracles from it. Battery and charging: the weakest point Here, the Galaxy S25 FE falls a bit short. The battery has a capacity of only 4,900 mAh, which is less than most competitors (typically 5,000–5,500 mAh). However, it still lasts at least a day on a single charge. Charging is worse. 45W wired charging sounds decent, but Samsung has implemented it somewhat strangely – according to tests, the phone charges slowly and also drains quickly during intensive use. Wireless charging is missing, which is surprising in this price category. Who is the Galaxy S25 FE suitable for The Galaxy S25 FE only makes sense for a specific group of users: You want to stay within the Samsung ecosystem: If you have a Samsung watch, tablet, or headphones, the integration works well. You care about long-term support: Samsung promises 7 years of Android updates, which is more than most competitors (Xiaomi 4 years, Honor 4 years, Realme 4 years). You prefer Samsung One UI: If you like the One UI overlay with features like Galaxy AI, DeX, or Good Lock, that’s a plus. CHCI S25 FE V AKCI What do you think about this discount?
