Garmin CIRQA screenless band likely appeared in the Connect app. Subscribers might get a discount Home News Lines referring to screenless device support have been added to the code of Garmin Connect app version 5.25 The findings do not directly mention CIRQA, but they fit its concept perfectly both in terms of timing and content Subscribers to Garmin Connect+ service could receive discount codes for selected products Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 22. 5. 2026 14:30 Advertisement Just a few days ago, we informed you about a leak from the Ukrainian Stylus Store, which revealed both the appearance and the unpleasantly high price of the upcoming sports band Garmin CIRQA. The puzzle now expands with another interesting piece – in the fresh update of the Garmin Connect app, lines of code have been discovered that quite clearly indicate the preparation of support for a new type of device. Specifically, one that does not have a display. What the app code analysis revealed Discount for Connect+ subscribers and other clues What the app code analysis revealed A detailed analysis of Garmin Connect version 5.25 was carried out by Gadgets & Wearables, whose editorial team managed to discover six new lines of code. Among them, the database column screenlessDeviceCapable with a default value of zero stands out – a variable that records whether the paired device has a display or not. Furthermore, mentions of the LimitedUI service, which is intended to manage devices with a limited user interface, were discovered. The fact that Garmin is gradually changing the word “Watch” to the more general “Device” in the application also deserves attention. This is another indication that it is preparing to launch a product that can no longer be described as a classic smartwatch. It is worth noting, however, that the specific name CIRQA was not mentioned anywhere in the code – so the connection remains at the level of substantiated speculation for now, albeit a very credible one in light of all previous leaks. Discount for Connect+ subscribers and other clues Among the new code findings, strings like “Exclusive Offers”, “Reveal Code”, and “GC+ Required” also appeared. They suggest that subscribers to the premium service Garmin Connect+ could receive discount codes for selected products. According to the discovered rules, it will be necessary to have a subscription paid continuously for at least six months (or a valid annual plan) and a maximum of two codes can be generated within 180 days. From a business perspective, the entire structure makes sense. If Garmin indeed launches CIRQA at a price around 509 dollars, as a retail leak suggested a few days ago, a discount for existing paying users can partially soften the high price tag – and at the same time help drive subscription sales. This is a strategy that Garmin has evidently been building more consistently in recent years. The update also brought new files for guided breathing exercises and meditations with instructions “Breathe In”, “Breathe Out”, and “Hold Breath”. This fits the logic that for a screenless device, the app could become the primary interface for guided sessions. Garmin has not yet commented on the official introduction of CIRQA, but given the series of leaks in recent weeks, it seems we won’t have to wait long for its launch.
