After several leaks and speculations, Garmin officially introduced the new Venu 4 fitness watches, which are also coming to the Czech market. The watches offer a range of improvements over their predecessor, including an integrated LED flashlight, advanced health trend tracking, and a personalized coach for more than 25 sports activities. The model will be available in two sizes – 41 mm and 45 mm – with a battery life of up to 10 and 12 days, respectively.

Premium Design with a Practical LED Flashlight

The Venu 4 features a stainless steel metal case, giving them a premium look. Compared to previous models, an integrated LED flashlight with adjustable intensity has been added, providing practical illumination in the dark. Until now, this was a privilege of watches more oriented towards outdoor sports enthusiasts, such as Fenix or Instinct models, so we are glad to finally see it on a more leisure-oriented model as well.

The display remains faithful to AMOLED technology with bright color reproduction – the smaller 41mm version has a 1.2″ display with a resolution of 390 × 390 pixels, while the larger 45mm model offers a 1.4″ display with a resolution of 454 × 454 pixels. The watches feature a built-in speaker and microphone for phone calls directly from the wrist.

Advanced Health Tracking with New Features

One of the most interesting new features is the Health Status feature (in beta), which monitors whether your health metrics such as heart rate, heart rate variability, respiration, or skin temperature during sleep deviate from the normal range. These changes can indicate increased stress on the body caused by physical activity, potential illness, or other factors.

Another new feature is My Habits Journal, where you can record your own or pre-set daily habits such as caffeine or alcohol intake. In the Garmin Connect app, you will then see reports on how these habits affect your sleep, stress, and heart rate variability.

Advanced sleep metrics now include sleep alignment, which tracks how aligned you are with your circadian rhythm, and sleep consistency with the average time to fall asleep over the past seven days. The watches, of course, also offer all standard health features, including the Garmin ECG app, Body Battery energy monitoring, women’s health with ovulation estimation, and blood oxygen saturation measurement.

Personalized Garmin Coach for 25+ Activities

The Venu 4 introduces the new Garmin Coach (Garmin Fitness Coach), which provides personalized workouts for over 25 different fitness activities – from walking and indoor cycling to rowing, HIIT, and more. Workouts based on heart rate and duration are daily adapted according to your activity history, sleep, and recovery.

For those who combine multiple activities during one workout, the Mixed Activity profile allows tracking multiple sports within a single session instead of saving separate records. The watches support over 80 sports profiles, including a special wheelchair mode with stroke count tracking and customized workouts.

Improved Accessibility and Practical Features

Garmin also considered users with specific needs. A new feature is the talking watch face, which can read out time and health data directly from the watch. For people with various forms of color blindness, color filters are available, including grayscale or combinations of red/green, green/red, and blue/yellow.

The watches can be controlled by voice commands directly without a connected phone. They also support Garmin Pay contactless payments, music storage from Spotify or Deezer, and navigation with GPX route import.

Battery Life as a Key Advantage

One of the biggest advantages remains the excellent battery life – the smaller 41mm model lasts up to 10 days in smartwatch mode, while the larger 45mm version lasts up to 12 days. With the always-on display, battery life drops to 3-4 days. In GPS mode, the watches can handle 15–20 hours of continuous recording depending on the size.

Who are the Venu 4 suitable for?

Garmin Venu 4 are an ideal choice for active users who want to meticulously track their health while appreciating an elegant design suitable for the office. They are suitable for runners, cyclists, and fitness enthusiasts who will benefit from personalized training plans. Thanks to their long battery life, they are also suitable for those who don’t want to charge their watch every day.

The watches will also be appreciated by users with specific needs thanks to features such as the talking watch face, color filters, or wheelchair mode.

Availability and Prices in the Czech Republic

Garmin Venu 4 will be available for order in the Czech Republic from September 22, 2025. The basic variants with a silicone strap will cost 13,790 CZK for both the 41mm and 45mm versions. Premium variants with a leather strap (Light Sand for the 41mm model and Brown for the 45mm model) will cost 14,990 CZK.
