Looking for a 4K gaming monitor that can also serve as a small TV? LG UltraGear 32G810SA-W offers an unusual combination – gaming parameters with 1 ms response time and 144 Hz frequency, but also SMART features including Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV. Under the hood, you’ll find an IPS panel with 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution and 10-bit color depth. For gamers, the 144 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response time, and AMD FreeSync support are important. The matte display surface handles reflections, and the 400 cd/m² brightness is sufficient even for brighter rooms.

More interesting, however, is what ordinary gaming monitors don’t have. LG has packed in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, an RJ-45 port, and a complete SMART system with applications for streaming services. Connect it to the internet and you have a small TV. The USB-C port can also charge a laptop with 65 W power while simultaneously transmitting video – all with just one cable.

The second common complaint targets the integrated speakers – “the sound resembles a socialist car radio retrofitted into a Škoda 105.” If you plan on using external speakers or headphones, it’s not an issue.

The rear RGB backlighting looks effective but cannot react to on-screen action – it only shines statically in one color. For some, it’s unnecessary; for others, a pleasant addition.
