A simple rule applies to TVs: you get used to the size in a week, and then you don’t want anything smaller. The problem is that 75 inches recently meant spending well over twenty thousand. You can now buy the TCL 75P6K with code ALZADNY25 for 14,618 CZK instead of 19,490 CZK. It’s a basic model without Mini LED and without 120 Hz, so it’s worth knowing what to expect from it beforehand.

Quick summary:
✅ Makes sense if you mainly want a large picture for movies, series, and sports, and you sit at least three meters from the TV.
⚠️ Consider that the panel only has 60 Hz and 330 nits brightness, so HDR and console gaming won’t be its strong suit.
💡 For 14,618 CZK, one inch of diagonal comes out to approximately 195 CZK.

An inch of diagonal for under two hundred

Alza offers the TV for 19,490 CZK, and the ALZADNY25 code deducts exactly a quarter from this amount. The resulting price is 14,618 CZK, which is 4,872 CZK less. If you divide it by the diagonal, you get approximately 195 CZK per inch. Additionally, Alza adds four months of SledováníTV service to the purchase and can deliver the TV to your apartment and mount it on the wall.

Contrast pleases, brightness and 60 Hz keep the TV grounded

The picture has 4K resolution and is handled by an HVA panel with Direct LED backlighting. HVA is a branch of VA technology, which generally offers deeper blacks than IPS panels, so at night with the lights off, the picture looks better than the price would suggest. The surface is anti-reflective.

The weakness is brightness. A maximum brightness of 330 nits is sufficient for regular viewing, but HDR content won’t get much out of it, and in a sunny living room, the picture will appear washed out. There is no local dimming at all. People who bought the P6K series most often describe it as an honest TV for little money. However, there are also voices saying that they expected a sharper and more vibrant picture from such a large screen.

The second limitation is the 60 Hz refresh rate. Although the TV has three HDMI 2.1 ports, a game mode, and VRR, it will not display 120 frames per second from a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. It’s sufficient for casual gaming, but I wouldn’t buy it specifically for gaming.

Google TV, AirPlay, and Czech applications

The system is Google TV, so you have access to the Google Play Store, Chromecast, and voice control via Google Assistant. iPhone owners will benefit from AirPlay 2. Among Czech services, Alza lists Oneplay, Prima+, SledováníTV, Kuki, and Skylink Live TV, and among international ones, Netflix, Disney+, and HBO Max.

Sound is provided by speakers with a total output of 30 W and Dolby Digital Plus support. Don’t expect bass from such a thin TV. However, thanks to HDMI with eARC, you can easily connect a soundbar, and there will be money left over from your savings for it.

Before ordering, measure your cabinet

The TV is 166.8 cm wide and the feet have a spacing of 129 cm, so you won’t be able to place it on a narrow TV stand. It weighs 18.2 kg and can be mounted on the wall with a VESA 300 × 300 bracket. From a distance of less than two and a half meters, the picture will likely be tiring; the ideal is around three meters or more.

Also consider the consumption. The TV falls into energy class E and consumes 105 kWh per thousand hours of operation in normal mode.

Who the 75P6K for 14,618 CZK is worth it for

The TCL 75P6K is a TV for those who want the largest possible picture for the least amount of money and primarily watch streaming services, regular broadcasts, and sports. With the ALZADNY25 code, it costs 14,618 CZK, and for that price, its brightness and 60 Hz can be forgiven. Those who play on a console or want HDR movies to truly shine should pay extra for a model with Mini LED and 144 Hz.

Would you prefer a larger diagonal, or a smaller TV with a better picture?
