Google Gemini's great feature creates a presentation for you! It takes a moment, and the results are surprisingly good Home News Google Gemini gets a feature for automatic presentation creation from documents in Canvas mode A 13-slide presentation from a 600-word document is created in approximately one minute The new feature is gradually rolling out to users, currently only working on personal accounts Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 26. 10. 2025 01:30 Advertisement Google is constantly improving its AI assistant Gemini, and this time it comes with a feature that will please everyone who regularly prepares presentations. Artificial intelligence can now automatically convert a text document from Google Docs into a full-fledged presentation directly in Canvas mode. The entire process takes at most a few minutes, and the result is surprisingly usable. From document to presentation in a minute The new Google Gemini feature works very simply. Just activate Canvas mode, which functions as a workspace for collaboration with AI. Then, upload a file from Google Docs and ask Gemini to create a presentation from it. Artificial intelligence analyzes the text structure, identifies key points, and automatically divides them into individual slides. During my testing of the feature, it was shown that Gemini processes a document of approximately 600 words and converts it into a 13-slide presentation in about a minute. The AI intelligently divides the content into logical units, creates titles and subtitles, and produces a generally pleasing visual layout. Presentations created using Gemini are, of course, not entirely perfect and require at least some subsequent refinement. However, for quick preparation of materials or a first draft of a presentation, it is more than sufficient. Gradual rollout to users As with most new Google features, presentation creation in Gemini is gradually rolling out to users. Interestingly, Google apparently prioritizes personal accounts over business ones – the feature is already available on personal accounts, while Google Workspace users may still have to wait (I did not yet have the feature available on a business account). This approach is not uncommon for Google. The company often tests new features first on a smaller sample of users to gather feedback and fix any bugs before a widespread rollout. Furthermore, for business accounts, it is necessary to ensure compatibility with various security policies and data management. Have you already tried creating presentations in Google Gemini?
