Subscribers to the Google AI Pro plan can look forward to a pleasant surprise. Google has quietly increased cloud storage capacity from 2 TB to 5 TB, completely free of charge. The change is already appearing in official promotional materials and on the plan overview page, but it seems to be reaching users themselves gradually.

Gradual Rollout

Although the promotional page for the Google AI Pro plan already states 5 TB of storage, the change may not yet be visible to everyone in the Google One service interface. Some users, including myself, still see the original 2 TB limit. Google often adopts a similar approach – it introduces new features gradually to detect potential problems before they affect all customers.

What does the Google AI Pro plan offer?

For 549.99 CZK per month, in addition to the aforementioned 5 TB of storage, you also get access to a range of AI features. These include the Gemini 3.1 Pro model, the Deep Research function for in-depth topic analysis, or video generation using the Veo 3.1 Fast model. It also includes 1,000 AI credits per month for Flow and Whisk tools.

Subscribers also get Gemini directly in Google apps like Gmail, Docs, or Vids, higher limits in NotebookLM, and extended access to Gemini Code Assist and Gemini CLI for developers. The 5 TB storage can be used across Google Drive, Google Photos, and Gmail services.
