The Google Pixel 10 is among the most interesting phones for those who want a nearly pure Android experience with a guarantee of long-term support. With an AlzaPlus+ membership, you can now get it for 15 074 Kč, which is the lowest price on the Czech market.

Quick summary:
Makes sense if you want pure Android, a top-tier camera, and 7 years of software support without compromise.
⚠️ Consider if you need a charging adapter in the box or require more than 128 GB of storage without expansion options.
💡 At 15 074 Kč (with AlzaPlus+), this is the historically lowest price – upon launch, the phone cost almost 23 thousand.

What is AlzaPlus+ and how to get a discount

AlzaPlus+ is Alza’s membership program, which, in addition to free shipping to over 25,000 pick-up points, also offers exclusive discounts on selected products – including this Pixel. An annual membership costs 299 Kč (i.e., 25 Kč per month), or you can choose a monthly option for 59 Kč. Membership can be canceled at any time.

In practice, this means that if you purchase AlzaPlus+ and buy the Pixel 10 for 15 074 Kč, you save 1 675 Kč compared to the regular price – and that’s not counting further savings on shipping for future purchases. Compared to the original launch price (22 990 Kč), this is a saving of almost 8 000 Kč.

Why the Pixel 10 is interesting

The Google Pixel 10 targets users who want pure Android without overlays and immediate updates directly from Google. The main draw is the promise of 7 years of software support – meaning a phone bought today will receive updates until at least 2032.

The second pillar is the integration of Gemini artificial intelligence. It’s not just a chatbot – Gemini is directly built into the system and can, for example, search by circling an object on the screen, edit photos using text commands, or control multiple applications simultaneously.

Display and performance

The Pixel 10 features a 6.3″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2424 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The maximum brightness reaches 3,000 nits, making the display easily readable even in direct sunlight. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 provides scratch resistance.

At the heart of the phone is the Google Tensor G5 chip, which Google developed specifically for its phones with an emphasis on AI tasks. It is complemented by 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage (without the possibility of expansion via card). The performance is sufficient for both everyday and more demanding use, although in purely computational benchmarks, Tensor does not compete with the fastest Snapdragons.

Camera: triple setup with telephoto lens

The camera setup includes a 48Mpx main sensor (f/1.7), a 13Mpx ultrawide lens, and a new 10.8Mpx telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom. Thanks to software processing, the phone can achieve up to 20× super-res zoom. The front camera has 10.5 Mpx and a 95° ultrawide field of view.

Google traditionally excels in computational photography – night mode, astrophotography, Real Tone for natural skin tones, or the “Magic Eraser” feature for removing unwanted objects from photos. A new feature, Add Me, allows the photographer to add themselves to a group photo.

Battery, charging, and durability

The 4,970 mAh battery promises over 24 hours of typical use. It supports 30W fast charging (55% in 30 minutes) and 15W wireless charging with the Pixelsnap magnetic system (Qi2 compatible). However, a charging adapter is not included in the box – only a USB-C cable.

The phone meets IP68 protection rating, so it can withstand immersion in water and dust. The construction combines an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides. Google states that the Pixel 10 is twice as durable as the Pixel 8.

What users say

On Alza, the Pixel 10 has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 (35 ratings) and 94% of customers recommend it. Most often, people praise the photo quality, clean system without bloatware, and fast updates. They also appreciate the display and overall system fluidity.

Critical voices primarily concern details. Several users mention the missing adapter in the box, which is surprising for a phone at this price. Others point out that 128 GB of storage might be insufficient for some – and card expansion is not possible. Occasionally, there are also mentions that the Tensor G5 heats up more than competing chips under heavier load.

When it doesn’t make sense

If you need more than 128 GB of storage and don’t want to pay for a higher variant, the Pixel 10 might not be enough for you. Likewise, if you expect the absolute highest raw performance in benchmarks or need a microSD card slot, you should look elsewhere. And if you prefer a richer software suite with more features (like Samsung or Xiaomi have), the Pixel’s pure Android might seem too minimalistic to you.

Verdict: who it’s worth it for

The Google Pixel 10 for 15 074 Kč (with AlzaPlus+) is the best choice for those who want pure Android with the longest software support on the market, a top-tier camera, and integrated AI. Compared to the launch price, you save almost 8 000 Kč, making it an attractive purchase. However, be aware that you will need to buy an adapter separately, and 128 GB might be too little for some.

Do you have experience with Pixel phones? What attracts you most about them – the camera, pure Android, or the length of support?
