Last week, Google officially showed for the first time the upcoming Pixel 10a in a short YouTube video. Now, well-known leaker Evan Blass has added fuel to the fire, publishing a whole series of renders on social media platform X, showing the phone from all angles and in all color variants.

Four colors, including a striking Berry

According to leaked materials, the Pixel 10a will be available in Berry, Lavender, Fog, and Obsidian shades. While Fog and Obsidian represent more conservative choices, Berry is a strikingly rich pink-red that definitely won’t blend into the crowd. Lavender, on the other hand, might please those who missed the similar Bay shade on the Pixel 8a. The colors also extend to the side frames, as is customary for Pixels, but this year they are flat, following the design of more expensive models.

The renders also show what the package will contain – a one-meter USB-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, and documentation. Naturally, don’t expect a charger.

What we know about the specifications

According to previous leaks, the Pixel 10a is expected to feature an older Tensor G4 chipset instead of the new G5 from the flagship Pixel 10s. Google is likely keeping manufacturing costs in check this way. The absence of a telephoto lens, slower UFS 3.1 memory, and the omission of some AI features, including Magic Cue, are also expected. A minor improvement over its predecessor is said to be an increased display brightness of 2,200 nits.

Google will reveal the complete specifications and price on February 18. The key question remains whether the phone with older hardware can compete against increasingly aggressive competition in the mid-range segment.
