The most visible change is the completely new curved Actua 360 display, which is the first on the market to offer a physically curved AMOLED panel. The watches will be available in two sizes, 41 mm and 45 mm, and will surprise with significantly longer battery life and support for emergency satellite communication. Revolutionary Display with 3,000 Nits Brightness Up to 40 Hours Battery Life and Fast Charging First Watch with Satellite Communication Advanced Health and Fitness Features Gemini Right on Your Wrist Serviceable Design and Technical Specifications Price and Availability Revolutionary Display with 3,000 Nits Brightness The main innovation of Pixel Watch 4 is the Actua 360 display with physical curvature, which Google calls the first of its kind on the smartwatch market. Thanks to this technology, the watches gained 10% more active screen area while simultaneously reducing bezels by 16% compared to the previous generation. The display reaches a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, representing a 50% increase over Pixel Watch 3. The panel uses LTPO technology with a variable refresh rate of 1–60 Hz for power saving. The minimum brightness with the always-on display enabled is just 1 nit, so the watch won’t be distracting in dark environments. Protection is provided by durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5 in a 3D design. Up to 40 Hours Battery Life and Fast Charging Google has significantly improved battery life. The 45 mm model offers up to 40 hours of operation with the always-on display enabled, while the 41mm variant lasts 30 hours. In Battery Saver mode, the battery life extends to 72 hours for the larger and 48 hours for the smaller version. This represents a 25% improvement over Pixel Watch 3. Charging is 25% faster than previous generations thanks to the new Quick Charge Dock. The watches charge from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes, with a full charge taking 45 minutes for the smaller model and 60 minutes for the larger model. The dock has a new side design and displays the time, battery status, and time until full charge during charging. First Watch with Satellite Communication Pixel Watch 4 are the first smartwatches with support for standalone satellite communication for emergency situations. Thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chipset, they can connect to emergency services via geostationary satellites, even when you are out of mobile network range. The service will be available for free for two years from activation. The watches retain the Loss of Pulse Detection feature from the previous model, which can detect cardiac arrest and automatically call for help. Fall detection, car crash detection, and the Safety Check feature for security control are also present. Advanced Health and Fitness Features The new skin temperature sensor can detect deviations from your normal range and alert you to possible health changes. Sleep tracking is 18% more accurate in classifying individual sleep stages thanks to improved machine learning algorithms. For athletes, Pixel Watch 4 brings dual GPS with L5 GNSS support, which ensures more accurate route tracking, especially in challenging conditions such as densely built-up areas or forests. The watches support over 50 sports modes, including newly added pickleball and basketball. AI automatically recognizes activity even if you forget to start a workout. Also included is a personal AI health coach built on Gemini, which provides personalized fitness and sleep advice based on your measured values. This feature will be available from October in the redesigned Fitbit app. Gemini Right on Your Wrist Pixel Watch 4 are the first watches with full integration of the Gemini AI assistant. Thanks to the Raise to Talk feature, you just need to raise your wrist to communicate with Gemini by voice. An improved speaker and 15% stronger haptic feedback ensure better interaction with the assistant. Gemini can search for information across applications like Gmail or Calendar, help with tasks, and answer questions. The new Cortex-M55 coprocessor enables more AI computations directly on the watch with lower power consumption. Smart replies are contextually more accurate thanks to advanced conversation processing. Serviceable Design and Technical Specifications For the first time in Pixel Watch history, Google offers the option to replace the battery and display, significantly extending the watch’s lifespan. The construction uses 100% recycled aluminum, and the watches meet 5 ATM water resistance and IP68 rating. At the heart of the watches is the aforementioned Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm, complemented by a Cortex-M55 coprocessor. 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage are available. Connectivity is provided by Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Ultra-Wideband. LTE versions support eSIM for independent calling. The watches will be available in several color combinations. The 41 mm model will come in Matte Black/Obsidian, Polished Silver/Porcelain, Champagne Gold/Lemongrass, and Polished Silver/Iris. The larger 45mm version will offer Matte Black/Obsidian, Polished Silver/Porcelain, and the exclusive Satin Moonstone/Moonstone colors. Price and Availability You can pre-order Pixel Watch 4 today; they will be on sale from October 9th. Prices remain the same as the previous generation – the 41mm model costs 9,990 CZK for the Bluetooth/Wi-Fi version, and the larger 45mm variant will cost 10,990 CZK.
