Google Pixel Watch 4 in (almost) complete leak! The watch will offer Gemini and extra fast charging Home News Final US prices for Pixel Watch 4 leaked a week before launch Google abandons the classic charging puck in favor of side charging from a cradle You get 6 months of Fitbit Premium with the watch, but no Google AI Pro Sdílejte: Jakub Kárník Published: 9. 8. 2025 10:30 Advertisement The official launch of the Google Pixel Watch 4 is just over a week away, and now the final US prices and details about the bonuses you’ll get with the watch have been released. Following recent leaks of European prices, we now have a complete picture of Google’s pricing policy. More interesting than the prices themselves, however, is the radical change to the charging system, which brings faster charging at the cost of a controversial design decision. Prices start at $349, LTE for fifty more US prices for the Pixel Watch 4 mirror last year’s model without a single cent extra. The smaller 41mm variant with Wi-Fi will cost $349 (approximately 7,400 CZK without tax), and with LTE, it will be $399. The larger 45mm model starts at $399 with Wi-Fi only, while the fully equipped LTE version will cost $449 (about 9,400 CZK). In the context of previous leaks, this means that European prices will be significantly higher – the base model is expected to cost 399 euros, which is almost 10,000 CZK at the current exchange rate. American customers will thus get the watch a good two thousand cheaper, even when local taxes are included. The biggest software novelty is the full integration of the Gemini assistant (similar to Galaxy Watch8), which you activate by simply raising your wrist. Google promises an interesting feature – AI-generated responses in your own voice. The system will likely record samples of your voice and then use them for synthesizing responses, which should sound more natural when reading messages or reminders aloud. Marketing materials also mention “deeper app integration”, suggesting that Gemini will be able to directly control the functions of other (not just system) applications. This could mean, for example, directly creating tasks in Todoist or controlling smart home devices via Home Assistant without having to open the apps. End of the charging puck, Google opted for a side cradle The charging system is undergoing a fundamental change. Google is abandoning the classic magnetic puck, used by all three previous generations, and switching to side charging using a special cradle. This solution is expected to bring 25% faster charging than with Pixel Watch 3, according to leaks. Specifically, the watch should be able to charge from 0 to 50% in just 15 minutes and to 80% in half an hour. The disadvantage of the new system is the exposed charging contacts on the side of the watch. These may be more susceptible to corrosion when in contact with sweat or water, although Google will certainly use durable materials. The advantage, on the other hand, will be the ability to use the watch as a bedside alarm clock while charging, which was not previously possible. Fitbit Premium yes, Google AI Pro no With the watch, you get six months of Fitbit Premium subscription for free, which is worth approximately $60. You also get one month of YouTube Premium. Surprisingly, there is no mention of Google AI Pro, which will be part of the phone bonuses. This is particularly odd because, according to previous leaks, the watch is supposed to include a new M55 coprocessor specifically designed for AI tasks with five times the performance. Perhaps Google plans to offer AI features on the watch for free without a subscription, or is preparing them as a paid add-on for later. Competition is ready, Samsung already has Galaxy Watch8 Google enters the market at a time when Samsung has already introduced its Galaxy Watch8 with similar display brightness of 3,000 nits and improved battery life. Pixel Watch 4 will thus have to compete primarily with deeper integration with the Google ecosystem and exclusive features for Pixel phone owners. POŘÍDIT PIXEL WATCH 3 NA ALZA.CZ The official launch will take place on August 20 at the Made by Google event, where Pixel 10 phones will also be revealed. Pre-orders will start the same day, and the first customers should receive their watches on August 28. Given that we already know practically all specifications and prices, the only surprise could be some exclusive software features. How excited are you for the new Google watch?
