Great for every office? Xiaomi power strip combines sockets with three USB ports, now available in the Czech Republic

Several months after its global introduction, the Xiaomi 20W Power Strip has arrived in the Czech Republic. You can find the new product in the authorized Mi Store e-shop for 520 CZK, but it will gradually arrive at other retailers – Alza, for example, already has it listed in its catalog with a price of 529 CZK. The device combines traditional AC sockets with modern USB ports for charging electronics without the need for adapters.

Three Sockets and a Trio of USB Ports

The Xiaomi 20W Power Strip features three classic AC sockets, which together can handle a total output of up to 3,680 W. This is sufficient for simultaneously connecting a laptop, monitor, lamp, and other common appliances. At the end of the power strip, you will find two USB-C ports and one USB-A port for charging mobile devices.

Each USB-C port offers a maximum output of 20 W when used individually, while the USB-A port reaches 18 W. When all three USB ports are used simultaneously, the total output is limited to 15 W, which is still sufficient for slower charging of multiple devices at once.

Charging Speed in Practice

According to manufacturer measurements, the 20W USB-C port can charge an iPhone 16 to 50% in 28 minutes or a Xiaomi 14 to 50% in 45 minutes. Charging speed depends on the specific device and its fast charging support. For smartwatches, headphones, or power banks, 20W output represents more than sufficient speed.

The power strip has dimensions of 285 × 50 × 40 mm and is equipped with a 1.4-meter cable. At one end, you will find a physical switch to disconnect all connected devices at once.

Safety Features and Construction

The power strip’s casing is made of flame-retardant material, which passed a hot wire test at 750 °C. The sockets are equipped with safety covers to prevent the insertion of foreign objects or accidental contact by children. On the underside, you will find non-slip pads for stable placement on a desk.

The internal wiring uses high-quality copper conductors for good conductivity and wear resistance. The power strip also includes overload and overvoltage protection.
