Great for shooter lovers. Xiaomi unveiled an extremely cheap 300Hz monitor Home News Xiaomi introduced the Redmi G25 300Hz gaming monitor in China with a price of 749 yuan (approximately 2,300 CZK converted) The monitor features a 24.5" Fast IPS panel with 1080p resolution and 1ms response time The new product targets players of competitive titles who prioritize speed over resolution Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 6. 4. 2026 04:30 Advertisement Competitive players know that milliseconds decide the outcome in online shooters. While many ordinary users can still be satisfied with a 60Hz monitor (personally, until recently I only had a 75Hz panel, but now I wouldn’t go below 100 Hz), the esports scene has long since moved to 144 Hz and above. Xiaomi is now bringing the Redmi G25 300Hz to the Chinese market, targeting precisely this group – it offers an extremely high refresh rate at a price that, when converted, does not exceed three thousand Czech crowns. Speed first Solid color reproduction Connectivity and practical features Who is the monitor suitable for? Price and availability Speed first The Redmi G25 300Hz relies on a 24.5-inch Fast IPS panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The main attraction is, of course, the native 300Hz refresh rate, complemented by a 1ms GtG (gray-to-gray) response time. The combination of these parameters minimizes motion blur and input lag, which will be especially appreciated by players of action shooters like Counter-Strike 2 or Valorant. To eliminate screen tearing, the monitor supports Adaptive Sync technology, which synchronizes the display’s refresh rate with the graphics card’s output. Viewing angles reach 178° in both planes, so the image remains legible even when viewed from the side. Solid color reproduction Although it is primarily a gaming monitor, Xiaomi has not forgotten about display quality. The panel covers 100% of the sRGB color space and 95% of DCI-P3, with a ΔE < 2 value ensuring accurate color reproduction. For HDR content, a peak brightness of 400 nits is available. The monitor operates with 8-bit color depth. Xiaomi also considered eye health. The monitor features TÜV Low Blue Light certification for filtering harmful blue light and uses DC dimming, which reduces flickering at lower brightness levels. Connectivity and practical features On the back of the monitor, we find DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0, allowing simultaneous connection of a computer and a gaming console. Settings are controlled by a five-way joystick with a clear OSD menu. The stand allows for horizontal tilt adjustment, and the monitor can alternatively be wall-mounted using a VESA bracket. Xiaomi provides a three-year warranty on the product, which is above standard for monitors in this price category. Who is the monitor suitable for? The Redmi G25 300Hz is a clear choice for competitive players who prioritize speed over resolution. The smaller 24.5″ diagonal with 1080p resolution is still a standard in the esports community, as it allows for easier monitoring of the entire game area. Conversely, for graphic design, watching movies, or playing story-driven games with an emphasis on visuals, it would be better to opt for a monitor with a higher resolution. Price and availability The Redmi G25 300Hz is available in China for 749 yuan, which converts to approximately 2,300 CZK. Xiaomi has not yet announced whether the monitor will also head to global markets. However, the brand recently brought a pair of 200Hz models to our market, which we described in more detail in a separate article. Would you get a 300Hz monitor for competitive gaming?
