However, Tom’s Hardware in its K3 review pointed out one practical pitfall: the keys around the perimeter are exposed and can easily be pried off and lost if thrown into a backpack without a case. It recommended getting a case — and the same recommendation makes sense today. It also criticized the stiffness of the frame, which is a trade-off for its thinness, and the battery life.

The author of a detailed review of the related K3 Max model describes that with the backlight off, the keyboard lasted him one to two weeks between charges, and also advises choosing tactile Browns instead of linear Reds, because with a low profile, it’s easy to make typos on soft linear switches.
