Honor MagicPad 3 impresses with a giant display and fast chip. It will be unveiled soon Home News Sdílejte: Adam Kurfürst Published: 29. 6. 2025 08:30 Chinese manufacturer Honor has started revealing details about its upcoming flagship tablet MagicPad 3, which it will unveil on July 2nd at a conference in Shenzhen, China. The device brings several significant improvements over the previous generation and, judging by the technical specifications, it could be one of the more interesting Android tablets of this year. Given that its predecessor MagicPad 2 is also available on the Czech market, it can be expected that the new model might eventually arrive in domestic stores as well. Premium Display with High Refresh Rate According to a promotional video that Honor published on the social network Weibo, the tablet boasts a **13.3-inch LCD display** with 3.2K resolution and a **165Hz refresh rate**. It is surprising that Honor is switching from an OLED panel to LCD for the new generation, which might disappoint some potential buyers. On the other hand, the larger diagonal and higher refresh rate promise comfortable work and multimedia consumption. The manufacturer also emphasized **stylus support** and a new keyboard case in the published materials. One of the most prominent features of the new MagicPad 3 is the **IMAX Enhanced certification**, which is the result of Honor’s multi-year collaboration with IMAX. This certification promises a refined visual and audio experience when watching movies and series. Powerful Hardware and Giant Battery Under the hood, the tablet is expected to feature the latest **Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3** processor, which will provide enough power even for the most demanding applications. According to available information, the device should be equipped with up to **16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM** and offer up to **1 TB of UFS storage**. Particularly impressive is the battery capacity, which will reach **12,450 mAh**, while supporting **66W fast charging**. Despite the large-capacity battery, the tablet will maintain a surprisingly thin body with a thickness of just **5.79 mm** and will weigh around 595 grams. More News from Honor At the same July event, Honor should also unveil several other products. This will primarily include the new foldable smartphone **Honor Magic V5**, which aspires to be the thinnest book-style foldable. A slim laptop **Honor MagicBook Art 14 2025** should also be on display, and perhaps other surprises. At least some of the products should arrive on our market later.
